What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Dropped of the Elgrand at preserveprotect.co.uk to get the full monty underseal job done.
On the way got the fuel consumption to 7.3 km/ltr !
Congrats! .2 more than we have.

Removed the rear under shroud, cleaned and oiled like the last one, came up a treat although some of the heatproof material has perished.
Put on my new belts and adjusted to what I think is the correct tension fingers crossed! Had a quick look around everything as the shrouds are off looking pretty clean for 15 years old, only a slight weep from the gearbox to engine block to keep an eye on and a slight weep from the steering rack gator to also watch! Knackered now just doing that took it out of me! lol

Front Discs and pads are now on, hoping to do rears by weekend pending work commitments.

The old ones are in really good condition with pads like new. If anyone interested may sell or keep as spares.

For chrome mirror covers, have a look at amazon.co.jp. Do a search for β€œbrightz e51 Elgrand” and a few blingy bits come up. They’re currently showing out of stock but worth keeping an eye out for if you want them.
'Bright' seems to be the official terminology for Chrome bits...

Today I've now had the underside sealed, two-day job, and had the cats replaced with pipes. Found a very local garage who do undersealing, when I rang up for a price I went to explain what an Elgrand was for size and they stopped me and told me they've got one themselves! Awesome! And they sort of specialise in Jap cars anyway, saw a variety of Subaru's, Honda's etc parked outside and on the ramp. Think I might have found my garage for the Elgrand going forward :D

Another bonus, they showed me some pictures of the underside afterwards, can confirm I have nismo suspension and braces, and they commented that it was spotless underneath as well!

Superb and a rare find... in the South :)

Not sure if it counts as we didn't to anything to our Elgrand today, except we won a nice low mileage one at auction with the aim of getting it converted and looking for a few more. That's right, we're expanding and next year will be offering a fleet of Elgrand campervans for hire...watch this space!
