WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

Hmmmm now I know it's not anything Elgrand related but I just got a diagnosis today of 'coxa valga'....never heard of it before....but it's painful. There isn't much information about it....but what I have read I don't like!😢

Ouch, just looked it up and it don’t look good, I can imagine you get a lot of pain from it ☹️

I’ve just swapped my Elgrand and found out from the really nice man at the dealer in Sheffield that the one I was part exchanging had the mileage changed and all kinds of stuff. Why are people so dishonest? 😔😔😔

That really sucks!

Just to be sure, you are certain the "really nice man in Sheffield" isn't the dishonest one?

After spending an hour polishing the 'Fabulous' 20" chrome wheels and Nismo badge of our 2005 XL, I spent the rest of the day waxing the E51 silver paint. How the hell it gets so hairy; I'll never know! ;-D

Wowsers, I have many unclean issues with mine but hairy is one I haven't had yet! Can we see the before and after pics?

Yes he's defo the honest one, he was very very fair with me even after he looked at the paperwork and saw all the problems, he still gave me the money in part exchange for my car when he could have told me the deal was off but he didn't even knowing he will make a loss on my car.😔😔 He told me to join a forum so I could talk to other owners, this is my 3rd Elgrand and I've never joined a forum before so hopefully I'll learn lots while I'm here in the presence of all of you experts 😊

3 Elgrands, I think you are more of an expert than me!

I'm no expert, just love driving them! I can honestly say that of all the cars I have had it is by far the best, it's just a pity that some people who sell them are so dishonest. Apparently the clock had been changes twice before I bought it 😔 if only I could have hovered over the papers with Google translate when I bought it 4 years ago but hey ho wots done is done! You live and learn and here I am in this lovely forum ☺️

AAAggghhhh!!.

Last week bus started leaking water through the centre consul lights and the screws that hold the sun visors up. Stripped it all out and dropped the headlining. Dried it all off and couldn't see where water could come in expect possibly because of blocked run off channels at the top of the doors / windscreen. Cleared it all and put it back together.

Driving to work yesterday.......more water! Took it to a local caravan / motorhome repair specialist whom I have used in the past for other jobs and he kindly left other work aside to try to help me out.. We spent 3 hours on it - dropped the headlining and dried it all out (again). Could we find the source of the leak? Could we F*&@!

Lifted the pop top roof. Poured kettles of water all over the top front of the bus. We couldn't see how it could be leaking at the back and the water getting to the front. Even had a pressure washer over it but couldn't get it to leak again so no further forward. Eventually put it back together (again) and put some sealant over the top edge of the windscreen as the rubber seal looked a bit worn at the top edge. We will need to wait for the next rain shower to see if it is still leaking (I live in Scotland so shouldn't be a long wait)!

Only positive is that the Specialist didn't charge me anything.....I think that he is as frustrated as I am now!

AAAggghhhh!!

WTF indeed. Just found out that my Elgrand is now arriving a week later than scheduled because it was put on to another boat, so will now arrive over the Bank Holiday weekend, and the one it's on now is heading for the fucking Bermuda Triangle, holy feckin balls!

Plus who names these boats "Morning Crown" FFS, A 'Morning Crown' is that moment before the Guinness babies arrive after a good session!

I sense a feeling of frustration has set in ;):joy:

Yup, Bank Holiday weekend... that was the killer, it just added a little bit more salt to the wound, but hey ho, gives me more time to buy stuff for it!

Always best to get it off your chest @Claptrap & your post did make me laugh

But bank holiday weekend could be a nightmare so I do feel for you mate. Hope it turns out ok for you :)

I got to drive a shitty smart car till my mass sensor turns up a 1.1 3 cylinder plastic hunk of junk just writing this is pissing me off an absolute joke so if you think things are shit when you wake up in the morning imagine your self driving to work in a fucking smart car 😂😫

Oi! I have a smart car as my daily driver to work 😂
Well I did until it snapped a belt and now doesn't have a working water pump 😡
1.0 turbo cabriolet....it's a go kart that gets 48mpg and will happily run at 70 with the roof down.
Nowt wrong with that.
