Ho

Hoping mine will sound a bit more raspy...the exhaust fabricator said he would try a few different boxes to get the desired rasp... even saying he could put straight through pipes on.. told him I didn't want straight through as would be a headache listening to it droning on long journeys!!!
Its all to do with the middle box mate. I've still got the original standard mid box. (Though it will need replacing soon) but the tale pipes have no muffler in them. Literally just 2.5 inch pipe onto a 4 inch wide end pipe

The standard middle box is going... I think he's on about replacing it with a 6 inch oval ....the 2 tail end pipes have 4 inch boxes on them

dave they replaced my middle box with the quietest one they do its still noisier than the old one
He said he'll try different boxes to see what I want 😁 but he says the 6 inch oval will do the trick 🤔 but first things first..since changing the belts I've got a squeaking pulley... don't know which one..I'm worried about if its a worn bearing what would happen if it seized 🤔🤔

the two belts drive the air con and alt the belts can squeal after new ones are fitted stick your head under and have a really good listen

Was put into the Garage and they tightened everything up. The belts were done last September But still hear it squeaking????

Ha ha!! Yeah, it does get a bit blustery on that cliff top. Most of cliff path is like that, I've nearly gone yeeting off the edge a few times in the wind!! 🤣🤣

Cleaned the van inside and out .
Sorted out the boot jump (AWOL Conversions -Saltash , Plymouth ). Ready for first camping trip at the end of April .
Used the T cut headlamp restorer with my Ryobi drill .
