What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Gotta say that Freddie never fails to impress me. There was only one thing not working on the whole van.

Aircon ❌
Power door ✔️
Rear Windows ✔️
Gearbox ✔️
Never uses any oil ✔️

So today I bit the bullet and took it to a local specialist for a regas expecting the rear pipe to be leaking and the cause of no cold air.

But NO, he said the system was pressurized but empty, passed all the tests and is now Icy cold front and rear.

He suspects it was taken to somewhere like Halfrauds for a regas and they didn't even check the label on the underside of the bonnet and had no idea it takes so much gas to fill so assumed it was leaking and drained it.

Whatever the reason it now gets a big fat

Aircon ✔️

I love this damn thing 🥰🤗

A wider berth of the fuse area worked for me, next would have been putting shielding sleeving connected to ground around the cables, something like this:

Hi @Elgrandonaut I'm kinda new here and to the UK. I'm having some challenges with the different terminology used. I'm looking to install one of these canm8 precision kits and wanted to prevent the the uncommanded reving you and a few others mentioned. What does "A wider berth of the fuse area worked for me" mean? Thanks

I think you may have a problem Dean, a wheel problem 🤣. I’ll get my coat.
Haha yes I do, sends my mind spinning.....

Genuine reason this time, looking for a little more comfort and the wide 19s when loaded with the caravan on the back are fouling the inner arch a little, so needed to go narrower... perfect time to get a bit more comfort back.

Classic addict deflection technique, always an excuse 🙄 🤣

I’m on 19s as well and when fully loaded with camp gear I’m hitting the bump stops. Currently contemplating changing the suspension and would prefer to keep is as close to standard as whilst I’d love to slam my bus on the floor it’s not practical for me so looking to keep as close the ride height I have now. Think Tein street Z are the closest I can get as am struggling to find anything else that doesn’t have more adjusters that Darth Vader’s bathroom mirror.
