WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

The day before yesterday I moved a caravan. Pulled it out of the hole no problem.

We filled the hole and pushed the caravan into another position.

The towbar that was fitted for the previous owner, by a company in ^Doncaster^ that specialises in ^Towbars^. I have been wanting to remove it since I bought the car, partially because of the ugly scratch plate with their logo cut into it, and also so that I can fit a spare wheel, which can't currently be fitted because of their abortion of a towbar fitting rendering it impossible. They had also cut into the metal behind the bumper to install it, which I want to repair.

Having said that, I don’t know if the previous owner agreed to what they did, but having spoke to him, apparently not.

So, reversing a 1000kg caravan was too much for the towbar, because it wasn't fitted properly, folded itself and twisted so that the bar is no longer flush, and likely weakened as to render towing dangerous.

I'm glad I didn't tow anything on the road!

You can see where the floor was hidden by the bar when I applied Lanoblack ...

looking forward to getting rid and then I can refurb the rear bumper .... when I've done the front 😏

Having a good day today... had to go outside and do something on the car before I lost my sh*t over the Council bollox!
Managed to nearly glue my fingers together trying to fix the sunroof then whilst looking at the rocker cover gasket oil leak I managed to hook my jacket on the steering pump reservoir clip and ended up ripping my jacket! Greeeeaaaaat

Many, many years ago and long before my Elgrand fetish I lusted after a Renault Avantime. Despite being bitten on the arse by two Espaces I really wanted one. Am I delusional? What "off the wall" and totally impractical car did you yearn for?

A guy in my road buys and breaks these cars - the way the door hinge works is amazing.

So Friday's WTF, went to Guildford, Khal had stuff to do (shopping) and I just mooched around. Flash of inspiration, buy Khal a nice Easter egg from Hotel Chocolate, she prefers dark chocolate so I opted for the "Extra-Thick Easter Egg - Serious Dark Fix" £29.45. Steal for the love of my life (and Ed). On the way back to the car, I passed a food stall advertising Bratwurst for £8, kin "ell, WTF is the world coming to when a Bratty costs 8 notes

Good ol' Guildford. Always has been a bit dear. But it does have Andertons which kind of makes up for it.
When I lived in Guildford Lee Andertons MIL lived a couple of doors down from me.

I've never heard of being in Guildford and not going into The Star.
