What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Those wires absolutely should have been 50mm longer. A pox on the Nissan accountants who demanded that cost saving!
The wires on the sidestep lights are the same, just long enough to fit, but not long enough to get your hand behind to unplug, but given all the electrics on an Elgrand, Nissan probably saved about 50 metres of copper per vehicle, but I would gladly pay the 5 quid extra per vehicle to be able to get the bl++dy sidelights in.

FWIW after the first time removing the headlights (and undoing the hidden bolt in the wing) I'll be unbolting the headlight unit itself next time I need to do that job. So much easier with proper access.
