What have you done to your Elgrand today?

All back together I got the sunshine, the painting went well except for 1 bad run on the lower lip (should sand out and compound up ) Happy days Just need all the mo fo's on the road to stay away from it now
And for those eagle eyed of you, you'll notice the the strut bars and drls have been removed. Gone for a nice smooth look again

At first I didn’t like what you had done, I could see that there was a nice Elgrand underneath the Nasty dress that you had put on her.

Then I looked again, and again and like a new song from your favourite group - which you thought was rubbish, the more you hear it the better it gets, then it becomes a favourite and an ear worm.

I am so please with it. I love the colour but when It was imported it has a scratch down the drives side rear panel. The repair was a pretty good match for 19 year old paint, but I could always notice it in the sun.
This covers everything and fulfils my life long attraction to classic race cars.
win win.

Decathlon awing is here ,, should really get it out at its bag and set it up but it’s Father’s Day so I will be doing nothing apart from eating n drinking and playing with Elgrand bits

Cleaned up the runners and boxed them up .. can join the seats in the bottom shed so I can find them if needed

Sanded and polished my headlights using Holts Headlight Restorer Kit (£15.50) Would recommend based on todays results, took me about 3 hours though.

Sanded twice with the 800 paper, once with the 1000, 1500 and 3000. You could really see the yellow plastic coming away in the colour of the suds.

How did the bumper spraying go? Mines primed just waiting for the front lip spoiler to arrive. Than the spraying goes on.

The Dury out on this add on. Not normally into cosmetic stuff like this but it's covering up a minor dent that's difficult to push out.

@dognero you weren't joking about the grill Im still on 240 grit and still another bar to go!
Also painted the panels satin black that go behind the grill as they were looking old!
