What the heck is tentacle porn???? (do I even want to know?) I feel I'm missing out, as I found no such material in my van!!
 
The mind boggles!! but having been to Japan, nothing would surprise me … I used to see old guys reading full on 'adult' material on the tube train at 07.30am!!!!!!!!!

Good to hear you are on the mend, I have missed some of your comments.
You missed an opportunity yesterday when people had been polishing tips and tailpipes.
 
I cancelled my Aviva multi-car policy and switched to Direct Line, saving myself over £700 a year in premiums. Of course those aren’t going to be real savings, as I shall be promptly spending the cash on tat for the Elgrand instead.

Christ that's a big difference! How come you were paying so much?
 
Flexible friend now sulking after full brake overall, wheels and exhaust. It was pulling in for more petrol on the way home that really done it.

Aviva are robbing bastards, and I was a bit lazy with the renewals the last couple of years. I used to have a high insurance group car on my policy which added to the steep premium, but I don’t have that anymore.
 
Today I mostly.....
Used the AWD in earnest firstly when we arrived at our holiday cabin near to Dartmoor (the gravel drive is STEEP!!) and then when I accidentally reversed down some railway sleeper steps! 🙈
She climbed out over the sleepers and up the drive with no effort at all! 😍IMG_20200928_124520.jpg

Got an update on my scratched front bumper! The owner of the garage rang and said in short that he drove the car ON to the ramp, but can't say past there, so I should get some quotes and invoice him when the works carried out. Can't say fairer than that. Vine place have advised the going rate for an Elgrand bumper is 300 quid because of the flip paint, so I may end up meeting him halfway I reckon, which I'm ok with. See what he says tomorrow.
The caliper that had been took apart and steipped / regressed would barely move, so the new caliper has fixed that too and may get me some precious mpg and brake efficiency back. Fingers crossed it hasn't took the disc with it.
 
I have done absolutely nothing to mine, done lots of studying and purchased lots of “stuff” in readiness to go completely eppy mental ripping out ICE and changing lots at once. I am guessing I will be soon posting “HELP” in the near future 🤣🚌👍🏻
