What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Finally spent a night in the van after watching a gig in Bristol. Was a bit nervous stealth camping in a city but had a good nights sleep and was fresh enough to explore the city today 👌

Today I saw my Elgrand for the first time in three weeks patiently waiting for me in the barn where she rests. Other than a few spider colonies which I brushed away she was just as I left her. I refitted the instrument cluster that I had corrected in the UK and sure enough it showed the true km covered. Volt meter indicated 11.7v and she burst into life first click then purred like a kitten all the way home. How much more satisfying is the growl of a V6 petrol compared to the clatter of a 4 cylinder turbo diesel?

No contest. When I'm on sites I always wince a little when a Transporter rattles by.

I stayed at Silverthorne Lane. It’s close to Motion and also the Old Market area. Not a bad walk into the centre either plus it’s outside of the clean air zone. Found it on Park4Night:
