Thats OK, wondered if you might be living it up in the Elgrand somewhere exotic ;)
If by exotic, you mean Carlisle, then you are correct, not in the Elgrand though, I have just done a round trip of 700 miles to get my poorly Toyota Mr2 fixed.

No, I wouldn't associate exotic with Carlise! Mind you I've only passed through there in winter on a train to Glasgow years ago and it looked a bit bleak.

Wow, sounds like a specialist fix for the MR2.

Great news, both @alboy and @Jonp13 will be joining us at Tesco.

Sounds like we're missing out but can't be avoided in afraid. What time do you think the convoy will get to Beaulieu? Is there anything we need to do/consider regarding parking if we get there before you?

Hi Liz, my friend with meet us at Tesco. All signs printed. Thanks for your hard work. šŸ˜€

Hello @sdp
@Initial D has just confirmed his friend will also be meeting us at Tesco, so apart from @dangerous brain who hasn't confirmed his attendance plans they'll only be you arriving on your own

I must admit I'm getting rather excited about starting off the day with the convoy but don't worry about not joining in as the day will be great and I'm sure there will be opportunity for us (passengers on the move) to take a photo or two.

We're meeting 8 to 8:30am so probably set off shortly after 8:30, not sure as not local but think about 10 mins from Tesco? Beaulieu say they are expecting a huge turn out and are hence opening both gates, so I've no idea what any queueing will be like. They'll have to check e-tickets on the gate and take any on the day entrance monies but I think they are generally quick at that. The general public don't turn up until 10am.

The Elgrand OC sign will enable marshalls to direct you to our stand area. They haven't specified layout, all I can say is I've booked 18 places, so if you get there before us then just park up.

Just a note, as the day will likely/hopefully be very hot and the queues could be long then keep an eye on your temperature gauges. My Elgrand copes very well in heat but its best to be cautious and I'd hate for anyone to have a problem.

If you do think its getting warmer than usual then put the cab heating on full blast to take it off the engine and leave a short gap between you and the car in front to keep their hot exhaust gas off your radiator. There shouldn't be any problems but just in case!

Righto...will just see how we go on the day! Looking forward to it...gonna be a great day for it too!

I think the weather is on the change and we may have rain on Sunday .shit cakes ..

I've got some problems here at home and haven't been able to come down this week as I had been planning and now unsure if I can come :-(

I will try and travel down Saturday night in which case I will come to Tesco, if not then I'll try and do a day trip and meet at Beaulieu but its 3 hours each way. Not sure at the moment.

There are 3 people meeting at Tesco who I was going to print signs for, can someone else do this please? Failing that, writing ElgrandOC in a black marker pen on a piece of A4 would probably do.

See everyone at Tesco Sunday morning

I have 2 flags courtesy of @Karl

Does everyone know where the Tesco is??

I'm coming from blackfield Sunday morning so can pick up stragglers lost on way of needed

Will check entrance for beaulieu etc

Got so much good stuff happening in the next few weeks, it's getting really exciting! And Beaulieu is starting it all off! Yay!

We are camping nearer Beaulieu than Southampton so will meet you all at Beaulieu, unless we happen to come across you enroute! We are staying at Greenpastures farm, Romsey, the night before. Is anyone else staying there?!

I'm at in-law in.blackfield so not too far out from.you

Just thinking all being well I could try setting off at 5am but I'm not very good with early starts.

Ok everyone just spoken to beaulieu and it doesn't matter which entrance we use for entry.... anyone got details if 2nd entrance??

Hi Lize,

If it helps, there is a side entry, I think it is on the B3054, for exhibitor's, that opens at 9o/c, it is a fair bit closer to Tesco's & it would also save a lot of time queuing up at the main entrance.

No, it doesn't matter which gate we use, Beaulieu will have plenty of sign posts up to direct the owners to both gates. Once inside the marshalls will direct you to the right area given the printed sign/club label in your windshield. It will of course be easier in the convoy if we don't get too far separated.

as you come out of tesco go straight over round a bout and then left onto beaulieu rd normally lots of signs about

@Karlos - You can lead the way :D
Will be a Sunday day trip for me, will post when I set off for you to know whether I'll meet at Tesco or see you there.
