Walk in the park m8, quite often do 4-500 mile days with work and Carlisle is dual carriageway/Motorway almost entirely (1 mile) from my front door.
We can hit Edinburgh in 4 hours with a 5am start in a Luton van. Got back from Bowness in the Elgrand a few weeks ago in a shade over 2hrs without going over 70mph.
Now if the meet was 155 miles "darn Sarf" ---- fck that LOL

It's mad when you look at the map, but the M6 is a pretty straight run and at that time of the morning fairly quiet.

I think I am the only one coming from Scotland and I might have the shortest distance to go,
I now it says 1hr 18mns but I can do it normally in 55mins ( white Elgrand )

I'm in a G30 Black so obviously I have to go slowly in order that other road users can marvel at its multi-coloured magnificence

Sad news - my positive covid test result this morning has had some knock-on effects in my life over the next 2 weeks, so I can't make the show now.

If anybody wants my ticket (1 bus, 1 driver only for club stand) then please let me know and I can send you the ticket email.
