Not the same as mine but thanks anyway.

Just found that a Marks and Spencer ready to eat salad tray fits in the E50 screen cubby a treat 😃. Another cheap fix to add to the list.

Today I got rid of the headlight jaundice, I used Wilkinson's finest headlight cleaning kit View attachment 4643
Brilliant Chris. Much effort involved apart from some good rubbing??? I did buy an Autoglym light cleaning kit 2 weeks ago but its not exactly easy to use so although mine are good and clear I will try some brasso.

Honestly I spent maybe 15mins a side with the brasso, then one lot of car polish to clean up, that's by hand not with a pad on a drill or anything mental. Massive improvement for the £2.50 it cost me.

Will probably do them again when I next wash and polish to make sure they're as good as they can be.

Edit: today I found my wife's nail varnish remover and removed the Japanese paint pen characters left on various windows from shipping.

Good drills.

I also polished mine again today. I'm addicted to Autoglym quick detailer:p

I'm worried I'm looking at fallout remover and claybars and other stuff I didn't know existed a few months back. My L200 got washed and polished once in ten years, by a friend who was sick of seeing it looking so faded and rough 😁

Don't talk to Alan mcallister then . Ive been buying all sorts of cleaning gear. Not even got the car yet

Took the Silver Elgrand to Germany to test out the new 18's and the Elgrand was smooth as a whistle, so it looks like the vibration is coming from the chrome wheels! On the way back I had loss of power for a few seconds which was strange and then nothing afterwards, I am hoping its nothing serious as the CATS have been cleared so hopefully its just a one off!!

@Crazycraig There coming off hopefully this weekend to then be transferred to the white Elgrand and then finally I can get shot of my 16's! lol
When are you fitting your Rider wheels? If I was in the UK I would have been tempted to get them, still really like the look of the Rider wheel!

We’ll wheels need a bit of work. So cost to refurb/chrome finish £330 all 4 however can drop of tomorrow and collect Monday.

Other option work from home tomorrow and do them myself cost primer and paint (rattle cans) duration prob 2-3 weeks. Cost £70 all in.

Decisions???

Get them done properly @Crazycraig. Are they re-chroming them or diamond cutting them? I had a quote for doing my chrome wheels and it was 200 per wheel!!! If you do get them redone can you ask about my 19's?! :p

The wheel specialist Cwmbran. Recommended to me and 5* review plus they knew about Elgrand in details as the guy owned one

Eventful day, locked the bus up and a friend try the passenger door and it was unlocked! all the others locked! tried loads of times electrically and manually, still the same. stripped the card off and took out the lock (not easy as you have to remove the runner for the window) all fine... put it back together, still the same......put a bar in the lock mechanism to close latch, door open obviously, locked it manually, it's working (Strange and why didn't I try this first!)

The problem solved by moving the over carpet that's on top of the over carpets, it was slightly over the edge of the footwell and must have just slightly moved the door out enough to stop it locking. The door closed easily enough without slamming. A day and worry I could have done without. if I wasn't grey already, I would be more Grey

Well took wheels to be done then brought them home to start myself. Long story but The Wheel Specialist are good and know their stuff.

Washed wheels down paint stripper applied then good jet wash. G3 them all. Decided lawyer was to far gone to make look good so have now started to strip them completely with wet dry.

Managed 3/4 before having a rest

🤪
