And that is why they charge £8 for a jar of pickle too small for a gnat to piss in. These "heritage/victorian" markets really grip my shit. Look great in the advertising blurb, the reality on the other hand.....

There's a house just off a main road in South Kirkby near me that always has a couple of vans and some kind of trailer on the drive all with French plates, I was curious why it was there for around 4 years. Last summer we had a day out at Cleethorpes when they'd got some sort of a festival on the sea front walkway, one of the vans and the trailer was there setup selling French street food at a similar high price to all the other van and trailer setups (maybe average price £10) that were selling Mexican, Indian, etc, etc street food.

I can go to my local bar and have a 3 course lunch for 12€. The bar is owned by the commune and managed by a local chef.

His legs could just about fit inside the tent when he first put it up but it rained overnight and fully weather proof Temu tent shrunk.

He still slept better than his mate though, his mate ordered an easy assembly 1 pole Temu trouser tent but they only sent him an internet link to a dodgy website.
