Someone I know uses Halfords like a tool hire shop, get it, use it, take it back…..I couldn’t sleep at night doing that.
 
Today I went into my local Bakery as I often do on a Wednesday.

I ordered my mixed nuts and wild berry salad and a piece of dry brown bread and whilst I was waiting I noticed Easter Cakes….

Now - we haven’t even celebrated the birth of Baby Jesus and here we are selling Easter Cakes to celebrate his resurrection.

Not right at all, I shall be sharing this post with Santa to see what he has to say about it.
 
Before anyone asks…..I didn’t buy and eat an Easter Egg cake.

It would take me over my Points for the week.

So I bought and scoffed a low calorie Vanilla Slice that was nearly the size of a housebrick, how this monster was only two Points, I’ll never know.

I see The Range have changed their returns policy so you can't return Christmas lights after Christmas, someone must have had the same idea.

2 Points for the vanilla slice but a fried breakfast with 4 bacon, 3 sausages, 2 eggs, mushrooms, beans, bread and butter for breakfast is 1 point and a takeaway chicken vindaloo, rice, chips and garlic naan for tea is 1 point, 3 cans of beer is 1 point. So your vanilla slice alone was 2/3rds my calorie intake for the day lol.
 
Not sure I like the 'changed my mind about buying it' culture, some people take the mickey doing it which increases the cost to everyone else, the same people who do it wouldn't be happy if they bought something supposedly new and found out it had previously been sold to and used by someone else who returned it.

You are using the same dietary pamphlet as I am.

On page 42 it says, “ Don’t be disheartened if you exceed your daily Points allowance……..blah blah blah.”

So I don’t.
 
Being driven insane by the dvd player in my series 3... plays but no video to either screen just shows the clock and that its playing. Audio also works, painful as I have a wonderfully wacky dvd collection.
 
I ordered the most basic, reliable digital watch available from Amazon. A Casio F-91w for around £10.

It was a fake 😩
Who would bother to do this?

I'll order one from Argos who are more reliable I have read.

Known as the Terrorists watch a favourite of Al Qaeda - if a suspect terrorist was wearing this model it gave him a free all inclusive pass to Guantanamo Bay.

If you press the right button for 3 seconds in the main timekeeping mode the display should show "CASIo", which is how to spot a fake.

That's the one.
Unfortunately though the fakes have improved and now support the CASIo screen and the display test.
The most obvious area where is falls short is the screen which has really bad viewing angles compared to an original which is still clear near to 180°.
The plan is to fit an Ollee module for some modern features such as step tracking and bluetooth and with this the original display is reused so needs to be spot on.

I think I would buy the modified unit for £70 rather that faffing about.
