WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

Blokes came today to remove the scaffold from next door thank God.
At least two of them had a smoke then flicked their fag onto the pavement, keeping it classy.
Scummy little shits.
 
When you're sat in gridlocked traffic both ways for over and hour, and the only way to find out what's going on or how long you're likely to be stuck is to check the local rozzers Twitter account - you know, on your phone which they'll nail you for doing - because Officer Dibble, as it turns out, is too bone idle to get out of his car where they've closed the road - at the pinch point, rather than further away from the accident where 80% of the afternoon rush traffic would have a chance to turn round or not get trapped.
There were a couple of bikers telling public what was going on, rather than the cops. Talk about outsourcing your damn job.
Took me 1hr 40 to do a ten minute trip, 80min late to pick up daughter. Had to take a whizz in a field on the way back.
The final insult?
The cops posted on Twitter at 2:32pm, accident happened nearly 45 mins previously.
Local radio don't have traffic up dates anymore at regular intervals, the TP system doesn't appear to be relevant any more (not that it ever gave me anything useful) and my bladder and I are getting to damn old to sit for hours in traffic because some irk in a German exec-box/French shopping cart/motorcyclist in midlife crisis mode thinks ' I can just about make that'.
Unless your Schumacher or Rossi, just don't. You're an embarrassment and a danger to others.
And breathe.
 
Wtf is going on in the what have u done to your Elgrand thread , I always used to like it , see what people have done to they buses , but lately there is more bollicks posts than posts about what’s been done to cars , total rubbish

Active forum in what thou , elgrands , cars or rubbish , was always my first thread to look at and this one my last , things change
 
Every thread strays a bit pretty much, but I think that reflects a relaxed and chatty forum with lots of sharing of thoughts and ideas, which ultimately has got to be a good thing, right?

Agreed to a certain limit , but what have done to your Elgrand today normally stays somewhere near , lately it had a comment about vaccine , viagra and loads of other bollicks , if that’s the way forward , I’ll be visiting a lot less , cus at the end of the day I’m only here for car banter

Sometimes threads are a bit like Pringles , once you pop you can’t stop etc
I agree, the thread in question has strayed a couple of times recently which is ok to a degree but would be a shame if the thread was lost to the comedy ( I’m as guilty as some at times)
It does show that we are a community/family as much as a forum and as such this will and to a degree must happen once and a while but I’m certain that admin are watching and will contain things when needed
We all need to be mindful of others and not get lost in the banter but also we don’t want to become a boring forum like some out there :innocent::cool:

Sorry mate I disagree , and as I’ve started I’ll prob finish it be gd to be banned , cus I’m always saying about leaving , but forum now seems full of arseholes , been honest they are welcome to it ,

Sort of WTF to get away from the ranting ;o))))))

Was in Halfords piking up some tools and had to wait as the staff had to get them out from the back, guy walks up lugging a Yuassa battery so it piqued my interest especially when the cashier checked the price, £130 I asked the buyer if he is desperate for the battery as was going to suggest Tayna but he said he was, I asked the cashier how much with a Trade Card, scanned card card price came up £100 so I said he could use my card, one happy customer and I just said to pass the good deed on and told the cashier the longer you make me wait the more money you'll be losing lol
 
It's down to the admins really. If you want to be a part of the forum it seems you have to be prepared to put up with a high level of banality and denigration.

Also agreed to a point. I guess the balance slips too far at times. I find it fairly easy to skim through any comments I'm not interested in so for me it's no Biggie. I agree with you I do love seeing what people with more skill and imagination than me have have done to their Elgrands 😍

It'll be a shame for this particular forum if denigration is accepted - one of the great things on here is that contributions are civilised (as in no insults) - unfortunately there are too many people in the world who don't share the values of common decency enjoyed by the majority.

I really like this forum as (a) I get a lot of useful information for myself and (b) I'm happy to share what I've learnt with others.

If that changes then I'll exercise my freedom to leave, but so far, fingers crossed, apart from the odd indescretion from some members, I'm a long way from doing that.

And of course you can choose to 'ignore' soemone's post - a tool that I do indeed use to good effect.
