will you stop pointing this out or the rain gods will hear you and then you will be in trouble at the minuite theyr busy with thailand so seem to have forgotten about us

Yesterday the Seat Alhambra tdi in front of me quite obviously booted it, so I of course did the same. The gap was the same, I made no ground up on it. Just two of us with nothing heavy in the van. I've never thought these were that fast tbh
Did you use the kickdown? First time I did mine leapt like a scalded cat and I had to fight the steering wheel to keep it in a straight line! Redlined before changing up and didn't want to stop going!

WTF is up with Elgrand owners in St Albans! I've spotted a few and they obviously seem to think they're too good for a club like this. Being born and bred here I'm a pretty regular guy who's happy to work for a living but it ain't what it was when I was a kid growing up. Too many snobs have moved here looking down their nose at anyone on a sub 100k income. These wankers should be thanking us for supporting the economy of the town they have decided to move to even though we have had to struggle as local wages do not reflect the cost of living here......grrrrrrrrrr, rant over!

Getting the same everywhere now mate I'm afraid. Respect for each other is dying fast & being taken over by selfishness :(

You've hit the nail on the head there @Phil ,selfishness and greed seem to have outweighed neighbourly spirit, love and compassion. Unfortunately nowadays many people are more motivated by money than friends. I'd go for friends any day!🙂

Dead right @GazzBee . In some ways it was better when the rich were rich & the rest of us had f**k all. We needed eachother then & that's how friendships grew. And we always knew who we were & where we came from. Last time I can remember that type of community spirit was probably back in the mid 70's :)

I was born in '76 @Phil so wouldn't remember that but I was brought up well by my parents. I have friends who earn considerably more than I do and we're friends because we like each other! I find that people don't want to socialise with those outside of their clicky groups for fear of being looked down on by their peers! Funny thing is...they're probably not happy with their life so they create a facade in order to fit in and have no real friends! Vive la community! 🤑😛😋

I blame the labour government mate. Boris will sort it all out once he takes up office as PM:p

Think yourself lucky mate your not in the Aston Martin owners club. TOTAL UP THEIR OWN ARSES THEY ARE and they hate the fact ordinary folk like me can afford to own one. We all wee and poo the same and we all came into this world the same way and leave the same way too.

I think I had the throttle controller in sport mode 5 (of 7) as I usually do so maybe because it wasn't in Power mode it didn't give it everything. I dunno. I don't cane it often enough to work out how to have it set. Probably factory Power mode tbh.

Enough is enough, time for the foxes to "move on". Go in the shed tonight and come out with an ankle covered in fleas. Anything short of burning the place down is on the cards. Actually even that is still a possibility, it would get rid of the fecking pear tree too...

Doubt he'll do anything about the excessive cost of home ownership and private rental though @Brendan1969 , too many land owners and landlords bankrolling them! They won't upset the supporters of their party by capping private rentals eg a two bed maisonette here costs anywhere between £1100 and £1300 per month. A relatively new development near the city station are selling 1 bed apartments for £450,000! Can't wait till I can afford to leave this once lovely city (only called a city because we have a cathedral!).

Theres an oily type slightly yellowish film all over the front of the Elgrand, you'd think the headlights had gone milky. I've no idea what it is and can only think its come off something I have been following. Tried giving it a sponge off with warm water and its lessened but still there, I fear it'll take a concerted effort to remove :-(
