What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Edging this way myself , the aftermarket bumper I had on wasn’t the best fit and always bugged me so bought the skirt along with side skirts to match , just have to dig them out , repair and paint
Definitely be worth it mate is that the rider skirt you have

No mate , it’s part of a full impul kit I bought a while ago , I got the rear, sides and a front skirt but the front was too far gone and I like the nismo I have anyway
Exactly the same as these

Dave sorry to say those Impul skirts and rear spoiler will look awful on your Elgrand mate, really need to be on a KH3 S1 Rider.
:D

Funny enough they were in black originally, unfortunately they will have a lot of primer on soon enough , so might as well go Qx1

Well looked at transmission oil,
Looked 3 times at it, but decided to get a member of staff to get down for me I'm scared of heights 🤔🤫😉

Had a leaky exhaust, both boxes rusted and leaking at the seams. Got a used one from scrapyard, cleaned it up painted it, got it fitted. Now it doesn't sound like a F1 and I can hear the radio and all the other faults, ah well.

Drove down to the new place we are currently relocating to on the South Coast yesterday. Noted some squeaking from the rear and on arrival, one rear wheel is much hotter than the other.
So now I'm stuck away from most of my tools with likely a sticking calliper, so do I just get a full set of pads/callipers/cradle from eBay, accepting they aren't necessarily the best, but a allows a quick swap out, and refurb the originals at my leisure, or risk driving it back to London (77miles) and strip them down there???

If it were me, I’d try to free it up, maybe buy a pry bar and push the pads back and then gently drive home and rely on the front brake bias to prevent it jamming until I got home

I'll probably pull the wheel off and have a basic gander. I did replace the discs and pads during covid, so hopefully the disks are OK.
I might try some gentle feeing up, but looks like replacements needed.
This is my main 4 wheel transport now, but if it's bad I can get the Triumph out to get back to London or even Southern Rail...then borrow the Bosses Subaru and bring some kit down... I have Dm'd Winchester too as he is not too far away, so options, but realizing how much I am relying on the battlebus now

If it's just the slide pins you may be able to release them and regrease until you are able to do a full repair. If it's the piston it won't be as simple. If you drive it dragging it may over heat the disc and the wheel bearing which would give you more hassle.

I just checked it and the pads are down to the wear bars, hence the noise, and the calliper piston is stuck, so cars going nowhere now. I will order callipers and kit from JDM and bleed kit from Amazon and will have to do it on the drive. Can't believe the pads are worn out. Oh well at least I can confirm wear bars work. squeak squeak...
