So sorry to hear that. 63 is no age at all.

I was in a hurry, in a tight squeeze, and pulled the tailgate down real hard, real fast and nearly knocked myself out...
It's the kind of deeply technical skill-sharing this thread was designed for, right?

Not today…but yesterday started taking out bezels/fascia to paint over that fake wood trim and holy macaroni the long bits that span the full length of dash are absolute bastards to remove but I’m halfway through now haha

Changed alt belt as it was stretched to its limit it hadn't been on that long was always tightening it so I found a better quality one and fitted it also give my catch can a good strip and clean and give the kNn air filter a good clean1000010333.jpg1000010334.jpg

Too nice and shiny to be hidden underneath a car. How is the lack of flexi hose accounted for?
Kakimoto didn’t use one , neither does my power flow to be honest , I had a discussion with them when I had it made and they described it as overkill on the Elgrand ( it has been on for a few years without problems).
Saying this and when I fitted the equal length de cats and the sports cats I decided to cut one of the pipes and place a flexi in just to be sure ( it would be a shame to crack one of these and gives extra peace of mind etc)

The exhaust is on with just the smallest of leaks on one gasket to deal with ( remflex gaskets in post)
Now I have to decide and could do with some input, as is it’s on with original bumper so exhaust sits lowish , I can lift it slightly , leave as is or fit the lower skirts I have in the shed as in the last pic ( in Qx1 of course)

Opinions please , it’s getting left for a short while anyway.
Oh yeah, it sounds sweet, not much louder than the power flow but a much deeper tone etc
