I’ve had to park my Elgrand in Brighton for a few weeks while I go away...worried about it just sitting there on a random street. I’m sure it will be fine though. Missing it!

Drove 350 miles and spilled coffee in it.
That's great news @ElgrampsPassed its 7th UK MOT on its 21st birthday, again with no advisories. I admit I fitted new discs, new pads, new drums, new shoes, new bottom ball joints, new anti-roll bar links, new front wheel bearings and 4 new tyres. I had to remove the radiator and accompanying cowls to replace a four inch rubber power steering pipe and clips, my wrists just couldn’t bend and twist enough with the rad in place. I think the amount spent was worthwhile as I intend to keep this car for ever. I try to maintain the Elgrand to a high standard as it does so much work for us as a family, although we only do about 12000 miles a year we tend to do most of them in the summer. I wash and polish the Elgrand once a year wether it needs it or not. We are now ready for the summer jaunts to Cornwall in June and August or even sooner if we get the chance. I will give the underside a good going over with wax oil now mot is done.
