What have you done to your Elgrand today?

What are you using to stop the packing move forward past the middle row.
I packed ours up for a camp trip the other week and my only concern was the kit landing on the kids if I had to break hard in an emergency.
Every thing above the headrests is bedding and towels etc,,

Changed the 4 Rear Red LED bulbs for the fog lights. (God that was fun). Changed both front side light bulbs. N/S lovely. O/S a pig. Who thought the design was a good idea. All now working after MOT picked up a couple of rears out and side light flickering. All moted and good to go.

Still space for the................. ;o)))))

Fitted my new exhaust. Needs a few tweeks to make it sit better. I.e. a longer rubber hanger and about 10cm of pipe to extend it.
Sounds lovely when driving has a real sweet spot around 1700 - 2000 revs. Enough to set car alarms off on parked cars 🤣🤣 Oh and no drone at motorway speeds 👍
Sounds just about right , defo need to do something with mine it’s really starting to get on my nerves lol 😂

Yeah I'm happy with how it sounds. And the Mrs didn't moan when we popped out earlier, so that's good!
It does have a nice deep tone when its under load, but fairly inoffensive when ticking over.

Did you get rid of any cats. Also how much did it cost

Hey. No still have my cats. The e50 only has 1 on each bank so different setup compared to e51 which has 2 on each bank.
This was just the back box section, I got imported from Japan. Worked out around £170 for the exhaust, using surface delivery (3 months) and no tax on arrival.

Well here are some pictures of my very tatty old bus. Please excuse the dirt, just got back from a fair run some of which was a very muddy dirt track lol and haven't had time to wash her down yet.as you can see I've removed the very most rear seats, the weight of them plus my wife's wheel chair caused her to bang on the bump stops if I went quickly over a hump. Taking the seats out has really helped. The back end of the ele still drops 5 inches when I crane the wheel chair in😱I've include pictures of the ongoing body work repairs for giggles, the rear quarters were completely rotted out and missing, I've hand fabricated replacement panels, welded them in and have started the filling/sanding/undercoat process ready for a respray. The same applys to the sills, and there's still plenty of body work to complete as the pictures show. Also got to spruce up the interior, it's a bit tired lol.IMG20210806104314.jpg

Is that a Tiger 131 in the garage?

Turned daisey into a three seater for the trip to Wales ,thought I’d do a trial run.. have notched out the front panel of the bed so it will go over the seat mountings when folded down and hidden beneath the bed ,,, the seat mounting runners went into the floor rails easy as I’ve planned to be able to install the middle seats without too much fuss.. forgot how heavy the middle captains chairs are.. New hangers arrived this aft. So exhaust now sits at the right height. Still needs extending a smidge but that'll have to wait for now. View attachment 59218
Looks mint bud, but I can't help but think if you extend it even a little it will become a target for other motorists,, 😁😉 ,,
