What have you done to your Elgrand today?

I swapped the rear drop down tv with a replacement from a breaker. The new one closes flush now, so I’m very happy. Also replaced an LED bulb that had stopped working.

Interesting to see them dismantled. Looks like they were good ones. Could be a very popular service.
Because of the metal retaining ring I find it easier to cut off each end and then push out the core. I don’t do the fitting, I decore them on an exchange basis for Service Point, who offer the fitting service.

Nice. Sounds like you have the better end of the deal then. :D

That's my next job to do nice to see what iam aiming for . Is it not possible just to cut one side off the cat to access it .or is there a Pacific reason . Just thinking of saving a lot of unnecessary time re welding it back up . Or is it not possible to smash it out with some bendy rods etc with out cutting it up at all ??

@M1GKK I’ve cut them out a few different ways... I find it quick and clean this way

Still waiting for my detailed pre-shipping pictures of my purchase AND for an answer from Nissan on wheel load ratings

Spent some time polishing the old girl the Elgrand that is. Previous Japanese owner I guess must have sprayed some clear varnish over the whole car including the windows. Spent hours getting it off. Looks like new now. Any one else had this.
