Lol I have noticed lately when I get in from work there is a new Christmas decoration appearing when the wife and kids have been to shop

Unfortunately decided shes going to have to be scrapped as the fuel pump is broken. Saving the repair money to buy a new one. A sad day indeed.
Am I missing somthing here, a fuel pump for a E50 is less than £100?

I'm trying to work out how the stem fits to the steering column ???

You just find a suitable place, drill a 10 mm hole the end is threaded. Feed the cables through and a nut tightens on the inside. It has a sliding angle so you can change it. With my E51 it fitted perfectly in the middle of the steering wheel hole lower left hand side. This means you can see it when driving normally.
