Try and keep strong fella, at least good news she is back home with youLiterally just sat down to the computer! She's back home, had another ultrasound followed by an antibiotic injection as they are still not sure what the issue is. We are worried its Pyometra but she's checked her womb and from what they can see it seems okay. The good news is its coming out her regions instead of staying inside. We took her for a walk straight after and she Wass happy as Larry! Vet is going to come to our house tomorrow to check up on her and then they are going to give her a stronger Antibiotic injection on Wednesday!
To say me and Yasmin are knackered is an understatement, we have not even eaten dinner tonight yet and its 22.35!![]()

Hopefully excellent for you bothIt was a good day yesterday, my wife finally had her electric wheelchair delivered after 9 years of legal battles!
In all those years the wheelchair has increased from around 21,000 euros to now 60,000 euros yes you did read this right the price of a sports car or many many Elgrands!
The rear camera as my wife cannot move her head/neck cost 2500 euros from the wheelchair supplier, but when my son looked it up you can purchase exactly the same item for 400 euros! This is the criminal market of wheelchair suppliers who can charge whatever they want as its for a wheelchair, truly shocking! On a good note though my wife can now lay flat when her oxygen/heart rate plays up and now she can walk beside me at eye level!

Good news buddy, albeit a bit expensive.
Hope it'll fit nicely in the Elgrand should you wish to move it.
Best to the whole family![]()
Great news mate.
You going to need a good set of ramps to get that in the Elgrand.
The price is insane buddy @guf charged over 1000 euros for an oxygen holder! The mark up on the prices is insane!great news you can get folding ramps but get the longest you can as they can be a bit steep also check head hieght if she wheels it is whilst sate in the chair
That's really good news Richard. About time innit? Onwards and upwards. What's the next mountain to move on the list?
My good news is that SWMBO (who has Dementia) was diagnosed with bowel cancer but refused to have a 'camera up the bum' job done.
We had to go private, but we found a surgeon who would remove the cancer without doing a colonoscopy first.
After a lot of mistakes that nearly fouled the whole thing up, she had the op on July 4th. She was admitted at 7.30 am on Thursday and was home at 5pm on Friday. She went shopping on the Saturday afternoon! Us old 'uns are tuff!
She's been out every day but one since. She had a blood test and a check-up yesterday and the bloods are 'very good' and she is healing 'very well ' and 'better than expected'. The sugeon said he got it all and she is now cancer free. Woo Hoo!
We are off up to Scotland for a week tomorrow so that she can have a rest and see the wildlife. (I'm organising an orgy).
I booked a cottage out in the wilds and we are taking our son and daughter with us.
When we get back I'll be putting a bit more effort into selling The Floozie. (Swap you for that wheelchair Richard?)![]()
