I highly recommend visiting Vladivostok, especially in autumn, August-September.. beauty. But I recommend to us in Siberia, to Lake Baikal.. Olkhon Island. indescribable beauty. As for spare parts - no problem, as soon as they remove sanctions on payment to Europe.Sounds great. Perhaps you can source me some parts one day

My hiking and camping days are probably over though.
How accessible is it from the nearest airport, and do they have hotels and car rental?
Hmmm... perhaps a local person could start an Elgrand camper rental business in that area?
Or host some El-GRAND island tours!

Olkhon Island is unfortunately teeming with tourism. And not eco-friendly. Lots of tourist centers, cars. Lots of guides, camping tours. From Irkutsk 3 hours by car + 1-2 hours (waiting) ferry across Lake Baikal. Irkutsk has already become a tourist center. So, if you fly here to us, there will be no problems finding a tour/guide, etc.). On Olkhon and on Baikal (bays) mostly UAZ "Bukhanka" drive, this is the "people's tourist car" here. There are almost no roads on the island, only directions...The island looks gorgeous.

I was sitting one evening in a chair by the fireplace.. And I remembered that the front left door panel was broken.. Buying a used one is expensive, unreasonably expensive for a dried out 30-year-old piece of plastic. Ordering on a 3D printer is expensive + aquaprint + scanner or drawing.. In general, why disguise it as wood when I can make it out of wood, I thought) I found a piece of furniture board in a workshop made of pine. Well, and before going to bed for 1 hour of meditative practice - cutting wood..
If everything works out, I will do it again but from stained wood - stained birch, oak, larch..
I am a simple person - I see wood - I cut))

Got out my old cassettes) Started with Deep Purple album Perpendicular 1996) Yes, this is not the good old Deep Purple with Ritchie Blackmore, but the album is very "modern" in sound. John Lord is great as always! I remember buying this cassette at the age of 13-14 in 2002, or maybe 2003. Japanese acoustics sound good, but I ordered some other "bonuses" from the kit, when it arrives, I'll install it and show you)A few strange photos and videos.

I continue to order additional options.
1. Ceiling air duct inserts with Kenwood "high frequency" speakers.
2. Clarion 6-disc CD changer. (In the factory version, it is installed under the front passenger seat, but I have a factory pocket there. I will install it under the driver's seat.And a little relaxing evening wood cutting. I almost adjusted the panel to the gaps. All that remains is to cut out the handle. I plan to do the stitching (this is when the workpiece is treated with a flame of fire, after which the soft fibers are removed with a brush, then impregnated with linseed oil).
Cutting wood and listening to Willie Nelson albums on old headphones (1991 years old). What could be better?

The air duct speakers make a big difference to the people in the middle seats. Without them the sound is either too loud or too quiet! I wanted to add them to my old van but there was no factory wiring behind the blanking trim.
Just a heads up. I believe the cd changer is typically under the passenger seat, even with the factory pocket being there. It was on mine. I wanted to add a changer to my new van, but again no factory wiring present.

The distinguishing feature of Nissan from Toyota is that Nissan never puts in extra features and wiring. Toyota of the 90s always has features and wiring for additional equipment and other configurations. I also don't have wiring, I'll lay it again - it's not a problem) I can't understand where a CD changer can be installed under the passenger seat.
