South East Reading/Newbury: Mini meet 27th October - Venue confirmed - Anyone else interested, please add your name to the list :-)

I live pretty much over the road from the museum of aviation, and although it would be massively convenient for me, i’d suggest it’s actually bit of no go. The car park is small and gets fairly busy on weekends with people walking into Dinton, the museum itself is rarely open on weekends and there is no cafe to speak of. Plenty of nice little places about the area though, i’ll have a think and come back to you...

Sadly I cannot make the 20th as i’ll be at rhe Nurburgring, but if it’s the 27th, i’m there.

Ok, let's meet at The Nurburgring instead.

I will do Castle Combe but not in my Elgrand. Any one wanna lend me a 350Z?

Its £10 extra for the parade lap, probably get some wheels spinning once before we’re asked to leave, lol

Good inside knowledge that:)

How is everybody else if we plump for the 27th October ?

Looks ok for me ATM.

When I was in the MG Owners club we used to have meets at Brooklands in Weybridge. We were even allowed to drive along a section of the banking...that was fairly scary, until you've seen it you can't believe how steep it is. You'd struggle to walk up it...more like a crawl, and the car just wanted to turn down the bank until you got up to around 30mph on the VERY bumpy surface.
Could be a good place for a meet...not sure I'd want to take the Elgrand along the banking though!

The entry fee might put many folk off, but there's always Mercedes Benz World which is FOC.

i should be in with-without Elgrand options could be Blackbushe airport (NOT Auction) cafe control tower car park or between Reading Basingstoke A33 couple pubs with decent car parks

There's a big carpark at the cinema at Winnersh Triangle and we could go in for popcorn.
