Good morning everyone.

Hello, I'm Paul your friendly neighbourhood Funeral Director from Coseley in the west Midlands.

This is the second Elgrand I've had as the first on was stolen.

This is my second one in white I'm afraid but its a great car.

Done plenty to it but mostly underneath like brakes front and rear, Decat and a extra 18 LED reverse light under the rear bumper.

I fitted a new double din and surround and upgraded the lights to LED'S and bright white bulbs.

It's great reading about other owners and to see some faces but there are still people not putting faces to Elgrands.

hope everyone is well.

Take care.

Morning guys and gals, I am currently at work so I have taken a snap of my 2005 e51 2.5 Highway Star from the window, (I always make sure I get a spot by my wards window so I can show her off).

I'm 33 living in the East Riding area with my wife and two young kids, but originally from Derbyshire. I have no pictures on my phone as it's new of me or the car, so these will have to do I'm taking as we speak ha. My identity will remain a mystery!

Purchased the Elgrand back in December last year so I'm still fairly new to this game! Apart from the fact I love the look of them I want a something I could take the kids camping with but still with some grunt as I'm a big petrol head and mainly had motorbikes up until recently.

It's still pretty standard I believe apart from some aftermarket springs, twin cans on the back and some 5 spoke alloys. I have plans for tarting it up a bit but for now my only purchase has been a drive away awning.

Love every minute driving it, it's ace. Looking forward to meeting some of you in the future and your rides, as there's some quality machines on here!

Well done for getting to the meet whilst at work! And extra thanks to you and the rest of your colleagues at this time! Stay safe 👍🏼

Hi everyone, I'm Jason, 50, an Aircraft Engineer from Porthleven in Cornwall.
My first Elgrand was a black E50, 3.2 and I had her for 4 years, it was love at first site.
We were looking around for an MPV, to use as a day van with an overnight capability.
When my wife saw this one she said 'I love it, I want it, make it happen!' Well I couldn't say no! 😁
IMG_20190608_173147.jpg
So after 4 years and spending increasing amounts to keep her roadworthy,
I had some money come in, so it was natural progression to get an E51.
I asked Adrian @Winchester to help find me a Series 2 or newer, 4x4, with Curtains, Sunroofs and a Dark Interior.
Well this is what I got,
IFB_IMG_1567329908243.jpg
This is in Winchester after her first full tank of U.K. fuel, doesn't she look happy?
We had just picked her up from Adrian @Winchester , 1st September 2019.
She is a Late 2004, NE51, 8 seat, Highway Star, she came very well spec'd, 2 Sunroofs,
Cold Pack 2 (4x4, heated wipers and mirrors), Nav 2,
Curtains, Auto Left Door, AFS Headlights, Rear Power.
I can't thank and recommend Adrian @Winchester enough, he held my hand through the
entire import process (not literally lol) and took care of the rear cats, undersealing and the MOT.
I absolutely love her, she is my daily transport and our weekend dayvan.
We recently had a week in Scotland and she performed faultlessly.
So what have I done to her? I hear you ask.
Well for the first MOT she needed 4 new tyres,
I have since given her a Powerflow Panel Filter, Fresh Oil and Filter and New EBC Pads Front and Rear.
I have set her clocks to BST, installed a cheap Double Din, a Voltmeter, a twin USB socket and a Cyclone 4.
Future additions may be, a UK digital TV tuner, (to replace the wired in Japanese Digital one),
a more liberated exhaust, a touch top screen and LPG ( @Lpgc of course) 😁.
She is very well travelled, here is a picture of a cruise she went on for 3 months,
DSCN4571.JPG
This was in Japan,
received_479844659417575.jpeg
Then cruising through the Panama Canal,

Then a driving holiday from Hampshire,
IMG_20191004_165907.jpg
Through Cornwall,
IMG_20200319_152027.jpg
And then to Scotland and back.

Morning guys and ladies. Phil (65)and
Sharon-Tina (50)here.. 👐 We are Retired Holiday Park Wardens of 18yrs. We are from the Derbys/Notts borders..
Sorry but we are having a spot of bother uploading pictures, so we have given up trying...😥 but anyway at least we can write 😉☕ We bought our Mystic Black, 2005 E51 in June last year, from a mate just up the road, who didn't want to transport it back to Ireland, back to his Mrs. So it was a blessing really! Didn't know what we were buying but it met our needs anyway. 😁😎 ♿ And it being an Auto' was very important for me anyway.. We'd had lots of Series/Disco' Landys and other big cars in the past.
The Gaffa' Phil hasn't done a great deal of work, (compared to you guys, but still, done the important bits,)as yet to him. Him, being Edmond Slackbladder (sorry, force of habit, 'Blackadder) Named by me... 😂
Bloody good clean/wash/upholstery... by me, /wheels cleaned up, by Phil.
Maintenance by the Gaffa, consists of Drive belt and Air con belt, was the first job before driving it fully.. Cats removed after that! (advised by the lovely BMR.)
Brake pad set, Rear pin slide kit, Rear caliper mounting (Ceased rear)
Front Arm rear Bush kit,
Busted Rad'... so new Radiator, and top mounting bush.
Oil. Front bushes on stabilizer arms, new calipers & brakes. (Ceased rear brake)
Front a/r bar bush kit, (still to fit...he's 65 and it's too nippy for crawling under yet!! 🥶)
Sub frame poly bush kit..
Oil filter... more to do but time and £££ !!! Still got the flashy lights to fit etc.... 😂
Eddie drives bloody well anyway and took us up to Dumfries and Galloway last September for 2wks. Had to postpone our next trip up to Scotland til September (should have been early May😓)
Was hoping to go to some Dogfriendly weekend meets this year with our OzTent or our Caravan, and meet more of you, but at least there is next year! We did go to the evening meets at Castlewood's last year.
Its great to see all your Elgrands.. still educating ourselves! 🤣
😎 Stay Safe..... ❤

Sorry only a virtual photo had mine from last August, it's a 2002 Highway Star, use it daily to drive to work, love it hope to meet a few of you guys once this crisis is by.2019-11-17 20.02.50_pe (1).jpg

Hi I'm Colin, 48yo dad of 5. Only our 6yo twin boys are at home with 3 bigger kids flown the nest.

Bought Dumbo the Jumbo from Dave at Vine Place last September. Haven't done anything to him yet other than getting Dave to put an xtrons head unit in.

Love the looks that the wheels and lowered suspension give but I must admit I'm built form comfort not speed! When I picked the car up Dave offered to have a look at the suspension if I didn't like it - wish I had but with him being about 3 hours away I never got round to it. Feel every little bump in the road and with the amount of country roads round here it can be bad.
Love it though and can't wait to get to proper meets. Struggling to upload photos so just the 1 for now
I bought mine from dave. Quality bloke, great service. Couldnt fault the motor from him either

I’m a tad later than I was hoping but that’s not unusual, bit of bother with sticky taping the phone to a fence .

I’m Lizzie, had my S1 E51 since May 2017 and initially had it converter to a camper. More recently undergoing more comprehensive changes, it’s currently away having a turbo fitted - hence the parking space photo - and I have a bodykit to get sprayed on return home. More can be seen on my project thread: https://forum.elgrandoc.uk/threads/project-tba.17354/

The other Elgrand is a four wheel drive with a very good spec with some of the best extras View attachment 32278View attachment 32296
Where did that table come from? Would love one for my non converted E51

Hi all, Mark here from South Wales (fashionably late).owned the Ellie for a year now and driving her never gets old.mods - de-bage,xtrons,led's,
Powerflow exhaust, blue interior lights, lpg, hud.the pic is from last year's epic mini elgrandfest with both of us looking a little bedraggled, the Ellie due to the Welsh monsoon we all braved on the Friday arrival, and me, well let's just say that a little alcohol was consumed and leave it at that.
I wanted to use the pic to remind everyone that although we are all stuck in this current shitstorm,it will end and the good times will return.😎20190818_225132.jpg

Thanks to @robert edwards for this idea.

On Sunday 5th April we will be holding the first ever ElgrandOC Virtual Meet.

The idea will be for as many members as possible to post a picture of their Elgrand in the same thread. Along with the picture, share a few bits about your Elgrand like how long you've had it, things you've done (if anything), and talk about any plans you have. Keep it brief and nothing too wordy, just like we were all attending an actual meet.

It would be preferable if you could include a picture if YOURSELF with your Elgrand just so that we can put some faces to names, but this is 100% optional.

You can use an old picture of your Elgrand, although if you want to be in the photo, you'll need to take one on your drive as travelling to a location for a photo shoot is non essential travel and should not be attempted.

All pictures are to be posted IN THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!

This thread will remain locked from now until the morning of Sunday 5th @ approx. 10am. Then you will all be able to post your photo's.

For those of you who are non premium members and cannot upload photo's to the forum, there is a video guide to help you post pictures HERE.

I'll send a mass notification out to all members to hopefully get everyone involved.

I look forward to seeing all the pictures!

Hi all. Peter here. I'm 40 this year 😁
I bought my Elgrand last December.
So far work in progress. Double din done, plus some of entertainment to bring a bit more quality to a sound. Towbar fitted so can take my rib anywhere now. Suspension change to standard old one to low for me.
Future plans to fit turbo and do wrap with gray digital camo vinyl. Thanks P
