NATIONAL VIRTUAL MEET SUNDAY 5TH APRIL

My reason for owning an Elgrand
That is initially.... We purchased the Elgrand for the handicap daughter in the video. She had some undefined infection at about age 2. It did brain damage, so she has the mentality of a 5 year old. It also did nerve damage, and she also has multiple sclerosis, and is a parapalegic. I'm a seventh decade old fart, but I was lifting her from the wheelchair into a Land Rover. I knew that as I aged the time would come when I couldn't do that, although it isn't a problem now, it does not have future provisions...

We have come to appreciate the comfort and amenities it offers, so that now my reason is no longer just the handicap features. She also has anxiety disorder, and autism so that explains the sheer look of panic on her face.
Phil

Hi, I'm Amanda I'm 24 and live in gateshead this is my E50 project which we have named 'Battenburg' on to my second one this year as my first was a 3.0l neo which died due to the dreaded fuel pump failure so she is a bit of a mix match of colours thanks to the donor vehicle View attachment 32181

Hi, I'm Neil I've had my bus just under a year. In that time I've fitted a towbar, airlift 1000 airbags, changed all my interior lights to leds and really bright reverse lights, that's it. I've been to a couple of the haynes breakfast meets.

Hi all Richard here sorry I’m late. Had Elmo for 18 months now. Replaced all front bushes with poly ones new discs and pads and uprated rear springs. Conversion by me all home made in the garage and how do I drive it with the seat right forward I hear you say. The kitchen unit is telescopic and remotely moves on linear actuators. Oh and Karl said I could fetch my dog.

Hi I'm Colin, 48yo dad of 5. Only our 6yo twin boys are at home with 3 bigger kids flown the nest.

Bought Dumbo the Jumbo from Dave at Vine Place last September. Haven't done anything to him yet other than getting Dave to put an xtrons head unit in.

Love the looks that the wheels and lowered suspension give but I must admit I'm built form comfort not speed! When I picked the car up Dave offered to have a look at the suspension if I didn't like it - wish I had but with him being about 3 hours away I never got round to it. Feel every little bump in the road and with the amount of country roads round here it can be bad.
Love it though and can't wait to get to proper meets. Struggling to upload photos so just the 1 for now

Hi all! I'm John (obviously) and live on the outskirts of London just south of Croydon. Bought mine in October 2017 and had it converted to a camper 2 years ago but not much use this year so far this year :(. Wanted to keep it as close to its natural state as possible - retaining all the Japanese stickers and the full box of Japanese tissues that were left inside! So EOC sticker, camper conversion and LPG is about it.

Here's me in the back today and below is a reminder of where we should be!

Morning all. This is me and my late 2004 Rider S s2 which I picked up from Worcester Road Motors just over 2 years ago.
Only had an LPG conversion fitted by Simon at lpgc as any mods.Standard other than that.Originally intended to convert to a camper, but
I couldn't bear to have the interior and roof stripped out,and it's so versatile in standard form.
