My Elgrand drove perfect today!!!

Just back from Southampton, returning from the Norwegian Fjords. No, Ellie didn't drive THAT far. But faultless getting us to the Port and back home, been such a reliable vehicle.
Few Toyota Estima's leaving too, looking at Ellie in awe got caught up front and back in traffic. Not wishing to sound smug, but the Elgrand certainly attracts attention from other, shall we say lesser JDM cars. I am being smug... shut up !!
 
well had a run up to northumberland coast , bit blowy but e50 drove perfect , even on the shate roads , went warkworth beach then cresswell for a ice cream , onto newbiggin by the sea , and then finished off at whitley bay and home , filled up with cheap lpg on route so a gd gd day

Mine drove perfectly all week, 1,256km (785 miles) of Elgrand perfection.
Started off in the Lakes visiting my cousin then off to Brighouse Bay nr Kirkcudbright. A few tours around Dumfries & Galloway including meeting up with @Russ1 and family a few times 👍.
Saw @woolfie's Elgrand more than once but unfortunately never met him.
Great place, great week, great car!

Drove 224 miles home from Yakushi today. Comfortable drive with extended periods at 70MPH. No holdups caused by accidents and even the stretches of roadworks weren't problematic.
Only oddity was not due to Magnu. Just before joining the M1 there was an awful beeping noise. At some traffic lights I was able to turn off the radio and then the engine beeping continued every 30 seconds or so. I drove to the Roadchef services at Northampton where I discovered that the dashcam was complaining about an error on it's SD card. A quick format and double espresso later I was back on the road.
 
I’ve had exactly the same problem. Thought it was the car but it was the bloody dash cam. Bit like the VW advert where there was a squeak, but it as coming from something hanging from the rear view mirror.
Talking of dash cams. I have had one for a number of years and it still works. I was looking at the recording recently (a dirty great tractor travelling at 40mph towards me almost forced me off the road), and I discovered that although the recordings are OK the date and time were way off. I disconnect the battery when I go away but it hadn’t occurred to me to reset date and time on the dash cam. 🥴
 
My Van went from were I live to Anglesey and back - with lots of days out to the beach and places of interest.

Loaded with all kinds of sh17 including an Air fryer, aircon unit, blow up paddle board, X- box and associated rigmarole, large monitor, bedding, beach hut, dogs wardrobe etc, etc.

We took the Van and the Mini - not sure why.

But the point I’m making is this, I’ve done just under 800 miles/1271 KM in a week, up and down mountains, winding zig zag 60 roads, across beaches with no issues at all - used no oil - just pleasant easy driving……except for the odd sleepy farmer driving like a tw47.

So this is my input to “My Elgrand drove perfectly this week.”

I too am in Wales and mine is also driving perfectly... Except, on the A5 slowing down from just above the legal limit, my brakes had a strange judder, not in the pedal, the whole car. Seems ok now tho.
 
Picked up my Elgrand on Saturday and then yesterday drove it from Manchester to Scotland for a few days away.

Absolutely loving it and the only issue has been driver error... Someone in a black E51 with a copper grill (if I remember right, looked mint) let on to us near Dumfries and instead of doing the same... I cleaned my windscreen 🤦

We have all done it, Elgrands have the cleanest winscreens! 🤣
