Michelin Wiper blades

Basically, yes.
Each to their own I suppose and I can understand some wipers will look better than others. I'm probably less fussy, things I accept on all cars are white number plates on the front, yellow on the back, black tyres and a set of wiper blades, not a lot we can do to change them.

Cheers,
I mentioned above that the aeros on my E51 left big bubbles, so I put back on the 'cage' ones which came with it (and are in great condition), which clear the windscreen fine. I was thiking of getting the Denso hybrids, but someone the other day got them and said they didn't clear the last cm or so of the passenger side (if I recall).
So when I come to replace, you think the old-style cage-like Boschs are the way to go?
Unfortunately yes! If they make a wiper for a particular vehicle surely they would try said design on that particular vehicle, to make sure they are fit for purpose. Strange how some people find them OK and others not!

Back to the OP.
This post was about the aesthetics.
Nothing to do with performance or costs.

That was me, I actually said
Roughly the last centimetre nearest the outside end of the smaller blade doesn't make contact with the glass though.
which was badly worded and open to interpretation. I have updated the post and added a photo to indicate where in the wiper arc full contact starts to be made. Unfortunately this blade is resistant to bending/shaping to meet the curve of the glass because of the hard plastic shells it has on the non business side of the blade.
