Talking about pencils…..

I didn’t show much interest in most subjects at school, I was more interested in honing my disruptive skills than learning stuff I deemed useless.

Anyway, I happened to mention to my Mum that I liked Technical Drawing, which was part of Art - which I liked too.

So she bought me a geometry set, I thought I had won the Pools, absolutely fantastic, with a covert stabbing implement too.

I used to like Technical Drawing. Think I got a grade 2 in GCE 👍🏻

I got a 1 in woodwork. Didn’t do metalwork at that level, you had to choose one or the other. 5 & 6 in English and Maths, so just scraped through. Failed General Science.
 
For some reason SHMBO wanted the central heating on this morning, so I went into the workshop, the north facing door had a cold draught coming through, sorted! I must be getting nesh* in my old age.

Nesh lol, I'm a relatively southern pansy from the Northwest, was just south of Middlesborough today and the fckers were wearing shorts @ -1 degrees 🤣
