Think I made a mistake Ive just Paid admiral £700.00
Location can be a factor too, as well as everything else like age and mileage.

To me it seems that LV do not want to insure the Elgrand which ties in with what others have said and although they have offered to renew are pricing themselfes out
Probably true. They only insure imports now if, like in your case, you've already got an ongoing policy. They don't do them anymore for people wanting to insure them for the first time/new policy.

That;s the key phrase. As well as everything else they play on to rationalise prices increases. If it's not one thing, it'll be seven others.

hi guys just had to switch from darwin they would not cover me for a second year so now with churchill costing approx 380 per annum

So I've been able to add my E52 to the insurance database. Only took someone going into the back of me 🤦🏻‍♀️

Thankfully we were on the way to get the kids from school/nursery so no one was injured but me (touch of whiplash that lasted a good month or so).

Silver lining I can use price comparison sites now.

Mine's about £660 odd per year but that's because I have all the bells and whistles, business use insurance as well, £0 excesses where I can and I pay monthly. It's only a smidge more than my previous Fiat Doblo so I did alright.

It's Direct Line and I've got all my other insurances with them too which means I get a bit knocked off all round.

I got mine through Adrian flux, they insured my e51 and my Lexus gs430 (a v6 and a v8) for a little over 900 bucks for the year both fully comp, can not complain.

Just insured the Elgrand, great deal with Admiral, £840 ish, but that include the house/contents and my other car (Kia Sportage) with a multi deal, the Elgrand with declared mods (LPG (Low pressure gas!? and towbar) worked out at £250 ish, fully comp, it seems very cheap compared to other prices quoted, but I am in a low risk area (North Lincs)

I’m with Adrian Flux and trying to do a mid policy change from my Transit as a converted campervan to the Elgrand has pushed the annual premium from £800 to £1500.
