I have a 2010 E51 HWS. I believe it was built in Feb. 2010, the same month the E52's started production (I could be wrong here).

Has been chugging along fine for the last few years, but recently it's been having issues starting up. Seems like it isn't firing properly, but if I turn it or and on again it start fine. It's rather odd and everyone I have shown is like WTF... LOL...

Mine is nothing fancy, though. I remember see an equipment list from Nissan on the JP website (not working anymore), and worked out mine is is a 'HWS Smart Navi Edition'. It doesn't have curtains (wish it did sometimes), but has full leather interior). I think there are a few other little things that this one comes with over the starndard versions, but I can't remember them.
 
I have a 2005 E51 S2.... It's says it's a HWS on the Japan EPC data but on CarVX it's listed as a V Aero. So can it be a HWS V Aero??
 
E51 with more toys than I know what to do with!
 
I've gone for a series 1 E51 hws. Really wanted a 4wd with twin sunroofs and the 3.5 engine. Seems like the rest of the UK does too though! Got one with very low miles, grade 4b and it's got nismo suspension and exhaust. Extras are blinds, isofix, cold pack and holographic sounds system whatever that means.
Now been waiting 5 weeks for DVLA...😭 Going to have to tax my existing car next week at this rate...😭

Picked up my 3.5 e51 4wd in black on Saturday.

I Had to wait a long long time to find one in the south west and for me at least a 'reasonable' price. (Seems to me that there is something of a supply and demand issue atm post covid). It is lovely though and drove home the 30 miles in serene luxury, my foot hardly on the gas! and it was well worth the wait.

My E51 has the flip pearlescent paint, twin sun roof with the rear screen, full auto curtains and (aftermarket?) LED dimmable lighting in the back. Took me most of the week end to get my mirror cast dongle thing to be recognised by the Aux screen but got there in the end after many cups of tea and some profanity.

I wanted to keep the head unit (mini disk! Got to love it!) and the bose speaker so glad I persevered. I have also gone for the 'murdered out' stealth black look. A Bit of de-badgein took place and I smoked out rear lights. I am not a fan of the rear light strip under the rear window. (mine was silver in the centre) but going to leave the grill as is for now as it is growing on me. I have however ordered some 19" black rims because why not 😬

The invisible kind😭. Although showing on the factory sheet, they definitely aren't there. Everything else is though, including many unexpected and very welcome extras!
 
We’ve also got a black pearlescent E51 3.5 (2WD). Fell in love with it when we spotted it amongst the other offerings from alternative manufacturers, it had arrived from the boat just the day before.

I’d also like to thank this forum and it’s members for being such an incredible source of knowledge and wisdom for everything Elgrand. Cult of Elgrand? I’d better thank Nissan too for making an awesome vehicle (apart from secondary cats).
 
Got a 2.5 S2 HWS, which I imported last year. It was a bargain, drives well, is really tidy and has 74,000km. Performance is pretty good and it hammers long distance, but I still think I should have gone 3.5. Anyone made the swap?
 
Black E50 Homy V. 3.2td 2wd with 113k kms. Had it a couple of weeks already put over 500 miles on her going camping with the family. So pleased with the car it does exactly what we need and as it is not a daily driver should be good for years to come.

Just bought a 2005 E51 3.5 4wd X (eight seater). Needed the sunroofs. Just taken it back to the dealer for some more paint work and a few little jobs - the rear door curtain is missing and the rear cats need to be decored. Have just chopped in a 2005 Alphard 3.0 4wd for it. The ride in the Alphard was better but the drivetrain is smoother in the Elgrand and the seat a little more comfortable.
 
59 Plate E51 Highwaystar 2.5 in black e30. No sunroofs as will be being converted to a full campervan, cant wait to get started!
 
2008 e51 highway star 2.5 v6 , majestic paintwork. Heated seats, really good aircon front and back. Just fitted some 18” black alloys with new tyres and a large pop down roof DVD player for the kids. Only one electric door which I’d prefer 2. It also came with some sort of kenwood sub woofer under the passenger seat with built in amp.
Elgrandfest here we come 😃

Has an unusual front grill, never seen one like it yet. 19" alloys with rears dished more than the front.
Lowered on Nismo suspension, Nismo exhaust, nismo arbs and bits all over.
I don't think the middle and rear seats ever got sat on and the boot never got opened. Very happy so far.
