WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

I haven't checked but I think Fanny Hands Lane in Lincolnshire might have been renamed. Could never help laughing as we passed it enroute to Skegness but if locals saw you laughing it brought a frown to some of their faces. I believe they did petition their local authorities to rename it and it was in the news years ago.

If you mean Louth/wragby area it still has the same name.
Funny enough I always feel the need to wave at any locals on the way through ( both hands lol)

What’s Berkshire got to do with owt , I’m a South Yorkshire lad and can easily steer with my belly if needed !

Also FWIW, there are several roads in Welwyn Garden City which are named [something] Ley (pronounced "Lay") which apparently draw their origins from the traditional Old English word leah (corrupted over centuries into "ley" or "lea"), which means a woodland clearing or meadow.

Some are fairly innocuous like Langstone Ley or South Ley, but you have to wonder if the town planners were having a bit of a laugh when they named:
Little Ley
Long Ley
Great Ley
Bushey Ley

I'm a Barnet boy originally so used to drive down there all the time.
