My Nipper packing his van for the weekend
Fuel gauge was a known issue and subject to a recall, someone on here can probably tell you how to go about it.Hello and good evening. I’ve got to post ten times before I can ask technical questions about the issues I’m experiencing with the fuel gauge. So I’ll see you all soon
There's a recall for that...Hello and good evening. I’ve got to post ten times before I can ask technical questions about the issues I’m experiencing with the fuel gauge. So I’ll see you all soon
You'll need to go through Nissan UK for the recall. Nissan Japan aren't interested any more.Hello and good evening. I’ve got to post ten times before I can ask technical questions about the issues I’m experiencing with the fuel gauge. So I’ll see you all soon
No need for ten posts if you pay a small amount to go premium.Hello and good evening. I’ve got to post ten times before I can ask technical questions about the issues I’m experiencing with the fuel gauge. So I’ll see you all soon

Have I Been Pwned: Allianz Life Data Breach
In July 2025, Allianz Life was the victim of a cyber attack which resulted in millions of records later being leaked online. Allianz attributed the attack to "a social engineering technique" which targeted data on Salesforce and resulted in the exposure of 1.1M unique email addresses, names...haveibeenpwned.com
Years ago remember being offered a flat screen telly for way below retail at Sandbach services on the M6. The guy, with an Irish "lilt" in his voice, had a Sprinter full of 'em. Last years model apparently, heading for the crusher. If my HGV driving brother hadn't been offered the same kit in the same place two days earlier I would have headed straight for the ATM, turns out the boxes were filled with wood or something similar to make up the weight.... cheeky, travelling tinkersSeems to be parr for the course nowadays......harvesting/pwned/scammed
I got a text yesterday from the DWP regarding a £300 heating allowance - Phone this number to claim your cash before its too late, blah, blah, blah.
It seems to happen a lot, Im not entitled to any allowances/benefits so i knew it was blag, but if this text was sent to an elderly person who may have been eligible for this benefit- then they could have been snared and details harvested.
Another repeat call and text for me is from a retard telling me i have £2000 due back to me from Close motor finance, i wish.
I've never had motor finance from anyone, other than my mother in 1985.....which i defaulted on, so was blacklisted for a while, but thats it.
I used to think i was quite savvy when it came to being scammed but they sometimes catch you off guard, the Chinese calls enquiring about a recent purchase are very convincing-
how do they know about your purchase
How do they know how and when you paid
How do they know details of your purchase
Then after all this info is exchanged they tell you the payment has been declined, it is a fault at their end and can you give your payment details once more to proceed with the purchase.
Yeah right, hang on while i get my wallet.
Whilst on the subject.
I was filling my car with fuel ( way back when ) and a guy on the other pump said, "Do you want to buy a leather coat ?"
"Not really" i said.
He said " just take a look no obligation to buy, I'm a dealer for an Italian fashion house and i have been to an exhibition at the Adelphi Hotel to show this years collection."
So i looked, he had maybe 15- 20 leather coats and jackets in his boot, he said he wanted to sell them before flying home because he would have to pay tax on them at the airport.
I was hooked, i couldn't get to the forecourt ATM quick enough, i paid him my £150, and put the package jacket on the back seat.
Off we went, I remember think on the way home that i should have bought two.
You can guess the rest......![]()
