WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

Being the Master of our house I decided we were having a BBQ.

It's the Mans job to prep and light the BBQ - so i did, but the boil in the bag charcoal didn't light as it usually does.

It was a different brand, she bought it, so it was her fault....and i told her as much.

To which she replied "Just light it, its the only thing you're good at. "

Not to be defeated, i thought it would be a good idea to throw a bit of acetone on the coals and light it, what could possibly go wrong ?

I use acetone for my art - so it was there and asking to be used, after dousing the coals i lit it with my trusty Zippo.....WOOOOOOOSH.

Well fcuk me that worked well, luckily i was wearing my flip-flops so I escaped the main explosion with nothing more than eyebrow and eyelash removal....what a stench.

Caught it on CCTV for comedy purposes....

I noticed the look of horror from my wife, but i played it cool, like it was supposed to happen...

" There you go its lit."

" What's that smell ? "

" Oh its just the smell of burning hair from the back of my hand...no big deal, haha nervous laugh."

" It smells like shit to me, you muppet."

🫠
That's 100% the kind of thing is do as well 😁

Bet you daren't ask the mrs to light the next one.

Great engines
I bought it
Found it was dirtier than I had been told.....vacd it out, rug-doctoree the seats twice, triggered a massive engine service light and sold it 24 hours later for more than double.
Now, just to get rid of the exploding airbags Zafira and buy a decent XC90.....

I'm in the right town when I need a haircut, over recent years when a high street shop has closed it's soon been re-opened as either a barbers, women's hairdresser, nails / beauty salon or tattooist. The owner of the most recent to open barbers called it '7 barbers' taking the mick out of the fact that there are now 7 barbers including his own shop within a short distance of each other on the high street of this small town not including the hairdressers, nail / beauty salons or tattooists. No surprise that none of them ever seem to get many customers, most of the local population continue to use the few same barbers shops we were using 40 years ago which continue to be as busy. But apparently they get a £15000 grant from the council to open such shop, while the long time established shops get their usual tax bill.

I believe I had a number 4 and one point thegood old days when you could go out with fiver in your pocket and have a good time

Remember my dad having something like number 3 when I was little but with square sideburns.

Number 2 became popular after a film called Frankenstein

Number 4 and 10 went out of fashion after Peter Sutcliffe became infamous. Speaking of him, my grandma was convinced she once served him fish n chips at her shop.

Already had my suspicions about that kind of thing going on, and the daft local council helping fund them to do it. It's become a standard joke on the local Facebook groups, not that I often go on Facebook.
Short back and sides and a bag of whizz, so I hear round these parts 🤣

I was IT manager for a financial adviser twenty years ago, one of the guys once had Harold Shipman as a client. His sister was also flatmates with Peter Sutcliffe's last victim. Small world....

When a lot younger I went to the local barbers and asked for a "square neck" in fashion at the time, when he finished he showed me with the mirror as usual, I said that's not a square neck, he said no, its short back and sides, which is what your dad told me you were having when he came in last week!

We had a barber by us when I was a lad, had all the haircut photos on the wall. Didn't matter what you asked for you always came out with the same "short, back and slap". Go in for a Bowie cut you'd come out with a head suitable for National Service. You would protest, "I came in for a Bowie cut!". He would reply "Well if Bowie came in here that's what he would get". Classic...
