WHAT THE FUCK???!!!!

Just seen this:-

The price of gold has surged again, this time by 3.4% in GBP in 24 hrs, to reach a new high of £2524 per Troy Ounce on Wednesday evening.

Investors continue to seek safe-haven assets in the face of continuing global trade tensions and pressure on the US Dollar during European trading hours has contributed to the price rise.

How far can these price rises go?

Analysts such as Bloomberg have recently revised year end targets for gold to $3,700 to $4,000 per Troy Ounce.

That's a bit shit for me, I sold my warehouse full of ingots three days ago. How. Stupid. Was I? 🤣

People - especially "preppers" have been buying /hoarding gold because they see it as a tradeable commodity for when the world's economy crashes and people start burning their currency to start a fire.
If it really all goes to s### who would they sell the gold to, you can't eat gold, the only real usable commodity would be food, oh and probably toilet rolls
