Or, maybe, rather than bullying, one of the responsible adult options, such as self disengagement; use of the ignore button; or direct DM. However, all three of those responsible options don't quench maybe an innate need for an audience, nor attract likes and in-group adulation.

Great sight earlier of a parking enforcer booking FOUR in a line, all selfishly parked on double yellow lines, with no blue badge. Gave praise to the enforcer, told him to keep up the good work. Fair play, not the easiest job. Hopefully a nice present might result in the perpetrators thinking of other people for once. Somehow I doubt it though.

insurance renewal time of year has arrived

renewal quote from Admiral £560, pretty much level with last year

as always, hop on the comparison sites to see if a better is deal is kicking around

usually there are some in the same ballpark

but no... £1100 is the absolute cheapest i can find and that's from some pokey no name company

guess it's admiral again then 😂
I’ve seen a few comments about insurance, so wanted to share this - when first buying my Elgrand, I was getting quotes for around the £850-1,000 mark, so I gave up thinking I’d get an Ele, I’d tried them all but I went for one last look before I gave up on it. I used money expert (for the first time) and lone behold it even recognised the reg number and gave me 3 quotes below £600, one of which was Admiral but they’d told me already they wouldn’t insure it, so looked at the lowest £350 from Elephant, never heard of them so was very sceptical, turns out they’re owned by admiral! Cutting a very long story short, I ended up paying £250 by adding our other cars to a multi car policy (they were both much cheaper too), I reckon I’ve saved well over a grand, funny thing is I was previously insured with Admiral and cancelled those policy’s to take it with Elephant - they even use the same call centre staff and often refer to themselves as Admiral on the phone

just goes to show how potty insurance is

Elephant wouldn't touch it 😂

On March 1st I posted:-

Trump & Co set that up in advance. It was rather crude version of the "Good cop - Bad cop" routine. Probably intended to soften him up for the mineral deal Trump was after. It failed miserably!

I'm not the only one who's sussed it out.

Today's BBC webpage:- https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/czx4ynxx1nzo

When Trump won the election I took a look at the £ to € exchange rate and it was peaking around 1.21 so I took the decision to transfer the majority of remaining funds I had in UK banks to my French bank. The rate has been falling since down to 1.16 recently and who knows what might happen over the coming weeks and months.

Today I've been transferring all my cloud data on Microsoft 365 to a 1TB local home network drive as they've put the annual subs up by almost £30, so they can get stuffed too and I'll use my own personal cloud. Anything based in the US is a bit of a worry.

Andre: You should have invested it in gold. Have you seen how much it has gone up in price since Trump got his second term?
When confidence in the Markets is low a lot of people turn to the "safe haven" of gold investments. Added to that, China has been stockpiling it for a while.
Lots of insider trading going on I think.

A few of these would be nice....

They sell them in CostCo.............

18 months ago you could buy gold sovereigns for £360 each. They are now selling for £650.
If you'd bought 100 your profit would be £29k which is around £400 a week! Crazy innit?

just told the mrs she already knew the price of gold the two 9crt gold bracelets I had made for her 5 yrs ago at 74 grm are worth just under 2 grand not selling its surprising how much things change
