Years ago I got done for doing 80mph on the M180 , the traffic was very light, conditions were great, it was a sunny day, I was driving my Vauxhall Senator and this was at around the time police used Vauxhall Senators as police cars. I took the speed awareness course to avoid points on the licence and while there said to the traffic officer "I could have been doing 60mph in a Reliant Robin towing a trailer in heavy traffic and bad weather and you'd have thought nothing of it, I bet you've done 140mph on the same stretch of road in the same model car I was driving in far worse traffic and weather conditions". He was alright though, he agreed with me just adding "But we've got to draw the line somewhere".
 
Toddlers are the spawn of all that is evil.

Just over a week ago grandchild 5 of 5 started vomiting and shitting all over the place. During the course of the next few days he took out his Mam, his Nanna, me and his dad. This is the order of infection and severity. Judging by the symptoms I suspect norovirus or a close relative to it, personally I had the runs 5 times in just over 24 hours, wasn't sick and then nothing for 4 days before I nearly blocked the local sewer line.

It's been a rough time especially as we had childminding duty for 5 days straight.

I have been ill since my son started nursery in October 2023.

Nurseries are just a disease lucky dip.

I swear I've had more periods of illness than being well 😂

5 of 5 will be going to nursery in September I think, so we have that to look forward to. He goes to a soft play about once a week and that seems to be where catches colds on a regular basis which he also likes to pass on.

Is it bad that I’m relieved your van is ok? I initially thought the vomitting and shitting was in the back seats. I wish you all good health, but i’m also relieved about the interior 🫣

Try four kids under six years old having norovirus simultaneously, twenty years on I still have flashbacks 🤣
 
Right, now my name is Elgraman and again today I partook in multiple conversations with shoppers in ASDA concerning the price of products. I can confirm each person eagerly engaged in the conversations, and no one seemed to find the behaviour- i.e talking to people- odd or peculiar.

I was walking Angus in the local park the other day and a young girl and her grandma, who’ve recently befriended Angus, asked me if she could give him a treat, so I dropped a treat in her open filthy hand and thought, when did she last wash those hands? Angus looked at the treat, sniffed the treat, his own treat, and walked away - dogs are much wiser than humans
