The thing that narks the most is that a number of these places employ people mentally less fortunate than others, and when they're asked to clean it up, they're probably thinking they're doing a really good job....which obviously they are...but its without realising they're picking up shite left behind by the scum of the earth, whom should be forced to pick it up themselves....then fined...followed by a public flogging.

That grille is a right pain in the arse to get off to be able to then get the bumper off.

To top it all off... got the wrong high beam bulbs.

Got HB3 and they're sodding H9 😭

Ah well, at least I know what I'm doing to taking things apart next time.

That front grille is mainly held in place with spring clips, so until you've wedged open enough space to get your arm behind it and start taking the tension off the clips, it's going absolutely nowhere.

Do they have to go back in or can you replace them with something easier

You took the grill (and maybe bumper) off to change bulbs? o_O

yeah on the E52, because of the power steering pump and other bits in that area, it's impossible to switch out the drivers side bulbs without taking the bumper off

if it wasn't for the grille, it would be reasonably easy job to get the bumper off

the grille hides two fasteners that are holding the bumper in place

however, to make things easier for next time, I simply didn't put those fasteners back in place

i can't see it causing any issue as it's still held in place solid without them

so next time i should only need to unclip the grille at the top and it should just come off still attached to the bumper

I could lift a wheel on my bug on corners and roundabouts, if you kept your foot down the diff kicked in and the airborne wheel spun and you lost speed and it kicked a bit when it came back to earth, that's with probably no more than 40BHP, so I can't see why he need a full roll cage on that one ;) and at 15 grand it seems really cheap, I've seen originals up for 10 grand.
 
Shit my self yesterday morning. I got in my bus and started the engine and thick grey smoke started billowing out of the centre console around the head unit. I quickly turned off the ignition and disconnected the battery. LSS the culprit was the wires feeding an aftermarket dual power socket that my new dash cam was plugged into! Don’t understand why the 2A fuse didn’t blow in the dash cam cig lighter plug. Stipped it all out, removed those red piggy back things and fitted new plug on the end. So glad it din’t happen when I was 100 miles from home!

So yesterday like millions of others we had a flutter on the National 3 horses each, £5 each way, so I picked my 3 (still running), Khal picked 2 then was interested in "three card Brag" but could not find the odds.

I impatiently told her to just pick one so we can get out of the bookies, after a hum and haw, (me getting agitated more), she said "Nick Rockett". So the total investment £60. She went shopping today and I gave her the ticket to pick up the winnings. She came back and said, "i've put the £30 stake in your draw" and the "winings" said I. She said, "to coin a phrase of your's, it's in me sky rocket", so she won over £100odd notes on my dime and kept the lot...WTF.
