Down Wattstown, Rhondda today and saw a politically correct/health and safety method fo charging a transportation pod

My non expert view is that this looks like my lipoma.
The throat and neck area is delicate, best get it checked out.
This is where they went in to remove the parotid gland, there were other cuts behind and Infront of the ear.

Well the time arrived for me to get my throat slit.

Not nice, my thyroid was growing down towards my heart, it had crushed my feed pipe and wind pipe by 70% it wouldn't be long before it killed me.


4 hours in theatre ( they were banking on 40mins to an hour) it was the size of a rotisserie chicken she said.😆

I remember the discussion on forum about this with Magnu, Jagman and yourself but I don't remember how long ago it was. At the time I think you didn't know what was wrong with your neck? I'm pleased to read you've had it seen to though, is it all sorted now?

Yes it was on this thread, i was going to leave it until others showed me their issues, so had it out, job, jobbed.

Glad you got it sorted mate, makes my war wound look tiny (had a malignant tumor rumoured and a partial thyroidectomy just in case). Should look a lot better once healed and at least they found and dealt with the issue. Guessing it was a full thyroidectomy?

Believe it or not that is a half throidectomy, they have left the other side as it is not threatening to life.
 
At least you shouldn't need hormone tablets etc as in most cases half a thyroid can cope and should be a complete recovery. You'll be surprised how much better that will look after it's healed a bit.

Didn't have any symptoms really, just started to choke a lot and got breathless, they thought i had sleep apnoea so gave me a CPAP machine for the last 4 years or so.

Well it wasn't sleep apnoea, it was a rotisserie chicken heading to my heart, squashing my food and wind pipes on its way.

I currently feel like ive been hit by a truck, but i can breath, its bliss. 👍🏻
