Opens and closes under power by the handle and by the remote. Just doesn't lock that door by remote when locking all the others. Weird. Duff actuator maybe?
 
You could test the door closed switch by pressing it in manually and seeing if he footwell light goes out.

Tested just now - light goes out when switch is pressed. Also no light on dash suggesting door is open when it isn't.

It's weird, if I manually set the lock down, press closed on the handle, then press the handle to open before it has fully shut, it will open again... But if I let it fully close after engaging the lock switch manually, it closes and locks.

Very weird.

I’ll need to do this anyway soon when my new driver’s seat arrives so might put off further messing around in the drizzle with electrics 😁

Conspicuously split-free side bolster… allegedly from a 26k mile car… keeping my fingers crossed this job goes better than my “about 2 weeks” kitchen install that started when the World Cup did and is still going on…

Realistically, half hour to take out old seat , hoover what you find and replace with new seat

I failed miserably to even figure out how to unclip the wiring harness for the amp to the seat when I tried the other evening, but I did have my wife breathing down my neck to do other jobs she deemed more important than my car seat...

Can’t help with the wife but I think if you take off the plastic trim , mainly the front and the rear footrest and trim behind it , you will have more room to work and see.
I don’t have Bose so not that familiar with it.
I do suffer the wife and job priorities business though ( you get better at dealing with that as you get older/braver)
 
Is anyone else suffering a weird predictive text thing at the moment.
I’m finding that every so often I write something only to find part of a previous post has been typed instead of what I have written

It’s called continuous improvement.

On a serious note - my wife always finishes off my sentences in a similar fashion, it’s never what I intended to say either.
 
Yesterday, when out an about, in the distance in front of me at traffic lights was a white van. I thought it looked cool. I put my foot down more to get to the lights before they went green to see what it was. As I approached, in the left hand lane, versus the middle lane the van was in, it started to move off and I saw it was a StepWagon Spada, 63 plate I think, looking really clean. I only got to its back wheels before having to turn, but it looked cool. I've only see the odd one out and about and didn't know they were, imo, so cool looking. I saw another one parked in a car park later in the evening when I was on foot. A 62 plate, so I guess the same generation. I had a wander around it and it seemed nice. Pity they've got a CVT as I think I'd be paranoid, even though I guess a Honda one may be a better bet. Looks nice though.

If you are from the Shire, owning one will be fine - otherwise, too small.
 
Annoying, but o2 not being able to receive texts on my dumb phone since last Saturday. Texts go out fine. I rang o2 on Tuesday and they said there's an issue an lots of people have been ringing (doing her box in by the sounds of it). She said it was first reported last Friday, the day before I cottoned on. She said it isn't just 2g either (which my dumb phone is on), but others. I said it can't be the mast, I've got 4 bars and I've travelled about a 20 miles radius from where I live, at still no joy. She said it isn't a signal thing. Annoying for bank verification codes and the likes of paypal verification.

O2, Vodafone etc have been all over the place for weeks now , silly things like calls not going through one minute but fine the next and the amount of times you loose signal as though the volume has been turned off mid conversation is ridiculous
