What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Converted both reversing lights to fog lights. Installed two 6 inch lightbars along bottom of bumper as reversing lights. Cleaned roof twice and polished twice. Applied Registration and postcode to roof in 6 inch high letters. Makes it easy to spot by road cameras if it's been stolen.
Never heard of that before

Today it was sunny so I washed the Elgrand, removed the tar specs, polished out some dull edges where old wax had accumulated. Running short of time so skipped the clay (I'll regret later) and managed to get one good coat of wax on.
Really nice and shiny and brings out the pearl in the otherwise just white paint.
Then I fit two very discreet and tasteful Nismo badges which my wife has mercilessly mocked me for.
Don't care though. I like them and they are staying.

Hello does anyone know where you can get the brackets to fit a F35 fiamma awning to a E50 with a pop top roof thanks.

Just made a divider curtain to save me having to install the front window blinds when camping.
Drill 2 small holes.

Straiten the ends out a little on the hooks in the end of some net curtain wire. Thread the curtain on and insert into the holes

Use bulldog clips to attach the sides to the seatbelts

Can be left in if you want

Can be easily stored in the pouch behind the seats.

Today was on a road trip so, whilst having a brew stop, 20210803_140721.jpg20210803_141539.jpgI tested the TV antenna and 12v socket with the wee TV I’ve had in the van for 10 months, but never tried! Cracking picture and the installed socket worked great … pity UK TV is so crap 😃
