What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Damn we should open a bloody paint shop together!!! I don't know which of us has done more painting now..... You'll have it right in no time just frustrating when you do something like that.

Aye its frustrating when you're trying to do improvements and it goes wrong causing more work think our buses just like to be painted we'd definitely be black Elgrand specialists cheers mate it won't be like that for long

New fog lights with built-in angel eyes, unfortunately the manufacturers forgot to clean the inside of the glass lens before assembling so when the fog lights are on you can see a greasy film/finger prints, shame because other than that they seem very bright!

I'll tell you tomorrow as a tankful got me here. In fact the fuel light came on just as I arrived.

It's 20 years since I drove through France to Italy but I remember the roads being fantastic. Not busy and great quality tarmac.

Sugio swivel front passenger seat base arrived. For those interested it looks like this. Nice bit of kit I think. £300 inc delivery. They have a pretty good installation video on youtube.

Nice drive from Caen, a83 if I remember right ,we used to go that way but Nantes and Rennes ring road were a pain , espo with caravan on so go diff way now , yip super u will be cheaper than garages

Just checked online Super U 98ron is equivalent to £1,39/litre.

Replacement brackets have arrived to be able to fit a Thule 973 to the Elgrand, just adding some protection.

Had my beastie in the garage today, had the wheel bearing sorted and the garage found me a new down pipe + flexi joint + all gaskets for £180, I don't know if that's a good price but I snapped it up, it was the last one! Having it fitted next week! The list of jobs to do grows steadily smaller. Pretty soon it will be about sorting out the body rust and damage!

Today I got my full set of 8 Series 2 HWS black half leather seats out of storage, now that the transformation to red leather is complete.

just needed a bit of a hoover and a wipe off with a damp cloth… and they are ready to sell… they are in excellent condition and the drivers seat bolsters are perfect.

They come with all the black plastic fittings, belt buckles etc, ready to transform a shabby cloth interior into something special.
