What have you done to your Elgrand today?

Hi, My name is Ron and I drive a 2006 Highway Star. I have been a member for a wile but never posted anything up until yesterday. I have been checking in on the site from time to time to see what everybody is up to. Here is what I have done to mine. Mine is pretty much standard but I fitted a kitchen pod in the back and I am using it as a day van. Let me know what you think. Thanks.E51 4.jpgE51 1.jpgE51 3.jpg

Music is definitly important to me... I have already tried to have my radio changed, but the guy told me it wasn't possible - I think he said it was due to the amps?!?! He said it was only 11 and I need 12... Need to check this out and get clarity... How many speakers are there in your Elgrand? Do they all have the same number?
Hi Jewelsbe

I have sent a PM with a link for the connector for your car to upgrade the stereo. I'm sure after seeing Sunday that it will be an easy task

That looks great Ron, very versatile. I love how everyone makes their Elgrand their own.

16206570055404707562370874610045.jpgJust found that the spare that came with the van won't actually fit the vehicle. The Nissan wrench won't fit in the wheel holes. May help soften the new wheel purchase to the misses. Had to purchase incase of a puncture.

Looks great, well done 🚐🤩

My rear interior light was a bit Dim even though the previous Chinese owner upgraded the 4 std bulbs with a million LED,s.
So I took off the lens with a plastic trim removal tool and found that the lens was in fact a outer lens and an inner diffuser.(see pic)
I cleaned the inside of the outer lens and replaced it without the diffuser, it is really bright now, free sun tans to all my passengers.😎

This below is the diffuser I left out-

It reminds me of being in the dentists chair. 😬

What LEDs did you use please? Mine look like the lighting you'd expect in a dodgy block of flats.

The LED clusters were already fitted, four L shaped boards with the correct contact fittings to suit.
