What have you done to your Elgrand today?

All red mate
Only difference between it and later ones that i can see are the edges where they are slightly shaped inwards to take the chrome, and of course no letters (they were in the chrome cover), but i do have a full set of those too lol
Interesting. PM me with a monetary value and I will bear it in mind for further development.

Ok @Stempy
Found them and took a couple of picks showing shape and rear etc
Note the stuff round the edges is just old glue from the chrome——— also note the rear especially the last pic , shows four of about 18/20 screws :cool::cool::cool:;)

They look good. I think they would make good guinea pigs. 👍

They're good mate. Give a much clearer light output and don't seem to be dazzling anyone. Well no ones flashed at me yet... proper paranoid about getting busted for them though as at night they are proper blue 😬
Ooo you got more pics off your lights

I taxed and drove it🎉

Due to Covid it had been on SORN with only my truck road legal (itself only used three times since Christmas) but, as I had to go to the next town today, I thought I'd treat both myself and the Eli so taxed it and drove that and what a fine twenty mile round trip it was too. But when will I get to drive it again? Hmm, looking for excuses.

Cheers,
John

I debadged and spent ages with the DA machine, cutting, polishing and waxing.

Made a rookie mistake this morning lol. Changed both headlight bulbs, also changed Side light bulbs (the driver's side one was starting to flash) removed battery and done job, re fit everything and tested. Headlights working fine but side lights no working....... Feeling very stupid had to remove all the battery again and turn bulb around ( I forgot to check polarity of LED before fitting) no harm done, but would have been a lot quicker if I didn't have to remove battery twice.

Today I laid a 50m long darkie after giving it some welly out of a busy junction. :imp: (I know, I'm a bellend).

Don't know if this is coincidence but my first full tank of Esso 99 RON Supreme (supposedly no ethanol content) achieved 2mpg more than the previous full tank of Shell under comparable driving conditions.
