https://forum.elgrandoc.uk/threads/battery.20127/page-2Fitted the new battery this morning. Was pretty straight forward although I had looked through posts on here as I new I'd seen something about adapting the battery tray. Luckily I found a post by Lpgc, (Thread link below) explaining that you just need to snap/cut the drivers side end lip off of it. Easily done and the bigger battery slotted straight in. Side note anyone looking for a inspection light, Unilite torches are fantastic! Made hooking the battery clamp back on a piece of cake.

definitely is, About a year ago I upgraded my battery to a Yuasa and mine came with a note to remove and also a big sticker on the battery itself. What a lovely big battery but if Im right I think you need to remove the red bungs at each end of the battery. Andy @dognero is this correct information Im giving Chris?!
"These small red or black bungs are fitted to prevent electrolyte leakage in transport and MUST be removed prior to fitment or charging of the battery. Failure to remove the bungs will mean that the breather holes are blocked during service and the battery could explode."
Nice catch thank you. Glad I posted a pic. Double checked with a mate who's a bit of a self taught mechanic. He said definitely remove them. Was saying if you buy a battery from a shop then they're usually already removed but if you order online with delivery then they'll be installed. What a lovely big battery but if Im right I think you need to remove the red bungs at each end of the battery. Today was stage one of our house move across to Normandy from Brittany. Loaded up the Elgrand and the MoHo and headed for the nearest camping area to the Notaire where we will be signing the completion papers on Tuesday. Tomorrow we meet the agents to inspect the property prior to signing. So all being well we will have the keys on Tuesday then it's back to Brittany on Wednesday to liaise with the removals.
