What's the price per liter of fuel where you live?
In my city,
92 octane gasoline costs 64 rubles
98 octane gasoline costs 95 rubles
Diesel fuel costs 81.8 rubles

Hello everyone.
So, after the turbo-kill, everything has been restored – the intake and exhaust manifold gaskets have been replaced, along with a few studs, a new turbo, and a new MAF.
I'm thinking about changing the car. I've put it up for sale until May. If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it for another 10 years.
Currently, I'm looking at a Nissan Safari Y61 with a TD42 or TD42t. I'm not really considering any other car. Either an Elgrand QD32 or a Safari TD42.

Looked at the prices just now and it seems everything is ~+100 rubles, so around 180 for L of diesel.

To be honest if you put so much money and work onto it I wouldn’t sell it.

Chances are you will be going through same stuff when you get another old one.

Speaking of experience. Did this many time. 😂 also Elgrand is a van and 4x4 might be smaller/nimbler but loading capacity isn’t there.

They are better known as the Nissan Patrol over here, not Van enough for me.

Dude, it's a cool monster. I had a '95 Patrol. Boxy, practical, and capable of off-roading.But I realized I should get a Safari, not a Patrol. The Safari has a completely different interior, with a lot of cool features.

Hi.
Shit on the fan.
Lately, it's started leaving burnt oil in the cabin. The alternator belt is worn out, and there's vibration in the cabin.
So, I took a closer look at the crankshaft pulley and discovered that the damper rubber was almost worn out, and the vibration had worn out the oil seal, which I replaced two years ago.
As a result, oil is getting on the pulley, belts, and the water pump fan, causing splatter all over the engine compartment.

I ordered a new pulley and oil seal.

Hi.
Vibration, go away!!
So, the crankshaft pulley and new oil seal are installed. There's a slight vibration at idle, or rather, slightly below idle, when stopped at a traffic light on the D.
QD32ETI engine mounts are a particular pain and grief for owners of the El E50 and Terrango R50. In Russia, only original engine mounts exist, and probably worldwide as well. The cost is unreasonable, and the wait time is 30-60 days. I never would have thought it, but my respect goes to Mitsubishi and their 4M41 engine. The engine mounts are also made of hydrogel, have the same dimensions and mounting holes. The price is reasonable, and there are plenty of options, from original to cheap Chinese ones. I'll start installing them soon, and I'll update later.
I also restored the air damper vacuum actuator so that when the engine is turned off, it stops quietly and smoothly, rather than trying to jump out of the hood.
I also adjusted the c.sleev parameter on the fuel injection pump governor, achieving an ideal value of 1.9-2.0V. The strange rocking motion of the car at traffic lights on the "D" position has stopped.
There's a lot of work ahead, namely a complete overhaul and replacement of all engine wiring from the sensors/fuel injection pump to the EFI unit. After that, I'll replace all the wiring from the automatic transmission to the automatic transmission control unit.
I bought 16L of ZIK ATF Multi Dextron; according to the approvals, it's a perfect replacement for Nissan Matic Fluid D. I'll replace it according to the Bible.
Also, I figured out how to implement low-range shifting - I ordered a 12V linear actuator with a force of up to 100 kg in a protective housing.
That's all for now. I don't have any pictures. But as the work progresses, I'll definitely have some.
