Does anyone make bread?
I started making sourdough along with everyone else over lockdown and make some pretty good loaves, focaccia, and pizza now.
Pretty basic stuff but amazing for me compared to what I could do beforehand, and I'd never buy frozen pizza again!
I also plan to bake bread, but I don’t have time yet) Lockdown has changed people’s lives a lot, including mine.

subzero hello)
-33 and this is only the very beginning. Winter is slowly coming. The crunch of snow underfoot, winter games, skiing, hot tea and cocoa by the fireplace..
Yesterday we installed the Christmas tree at home.
In the morning it was -6 in the garage. I warmed up the tractor and drove out into the cold. The first 2 kilometers the suspension was soft. The next 23 km I thought I was riding a horse-drawn cart. It's warm in the car, but it's only -33))

Many years ago I worked at a cold store, big warehouse all at -30C, men would come out looking like the pic above. On your birthday you had to strip off down to your kegs and walk the length of the cold store... if you were unlucky the other blokes would catch you, put you in a 'cage' and use a lift truck to lift you up to ceiling level where the cold air vents were where they'd leave you for 10 minutes lol.

Still, one of the guys I worked with was an alcoholic, he worked in the office and didn't need to go in the coldstore much except to do the odd stock check but he would pretend to do stock checks in the coldstore at -30C so he could drink whisky from his flask.

Edit - forgot to say the guy I mentioned working with above was also my friend's 10 year older brother and was an alcoholic from being around 19 years old. He died from hypothermia after getting very p***ed in a nearby town and deciding to walk home down the old disused railway embankment when it was snowing, a distance of only around 5 miles. Seemed some sort of irony in that given that he used to drink whisky in the cold store on the sly. Apparently the onset of hypothermia made him feel too hot so he started stripping his clothes off while walking, he was found a few days later.

Pre-Christmas greetings!
It's time to congratulate you, friends, on the upcoming Christmas.
What should I wish? You have the coolest cars in the world, which means you are happy)
I wish you and your family health, that's the main thing. I wish you a peaceful sky
.Just think. One car, a Nissan Elgrand, but it was able to bring together so many people from different countries, cultures, and different worldviews. And all this was done by some car! I want to wish that there will be many such things that unite us people, like the Elgrand, in your life!

Well put Boris
You know, this is the time of year when my children envy your weather, as for me you can keep it lol
Have a very good holiday mate, you deserve it

Almost New Year's greetings!
The last working day of the year and as always I'm summing up. Sitting with hot chocolate.
The year was interesting and not easy.
I managed to do some things, some not.Elgrand. Threw up riddles and quests, but let's say less than usual and quite predictably. Exorcised a beaver or a rust demon (the devil has many names). Didn't have time to paint, but I'll do it in the spring of 2025.
Bought skis for the whole family. A long time ago, in my school days, I was very good at cross-country skiing. Life outside the city has been pushing me to buy them for a long time. I bought them - challenge accepted)
