Thanks to all for being so welcoming. Had a fun evening with lots of chats and learning. Huge thanks to Cliff for the fantastic food. Loved seeing so many different and individual Elgrands. As a bonus Ive managed to fix the remote starter that had stopped working ....

I found a YouTube video with a similar problem and there was a comment with a process that stated- starting the engine, press stop button on the remote, go from park to drive for 3 seconds then back to park, turn off engine.. The remote now starts and stops the engine again.
