South East Portending Portsdown Pootle (19th May)

There are quite a few places that are either big car parks or museums that welcome clubs to visit. Depends on whether you just want a place to hang, or if you want to include a venue like the Haynes meet and also if you are prepared to pay for parking.

https://www.portsolent.com/ is free to park and often has car meets.

Cool, okay, just trying to think about another venue near Portsdown, as I quite like the little convoy run we do when we go from the initial meeting point at Morrisons to Haynes, so trying to think of somewhere else to go first for earlier risers like myself :)

Something to chat about on the 19th :)

Probably better to meet at Portsdown and convoy to Port Solent.

I am hoping to make it weather and health permitting still 10.00 at Mick's burgers ?
Yep, 10am to 10.30am so we can hopefully all park together before the boy racers arrive.

As I have abandoned the FB section of the club, the event I had hosted for the Portsdown meet will have disappeared also so hopefully we won't get any deranged ruffians turning up.:p

thats me out then :joy::joy::joy::joy: plus it is 3pounds to park at fort nelson but still a good time if you like old armoury and things  and still no donuts

Last time I went to The Royal Armouries they had started to charge for parking.
I peddled past there a few weeks back and there was a charge for parking. I got the impression it was a permanent thing.

Hope the rain stays away Sunday.

I've got my new rear raised struts, so I'm good to stand under the rear door to keep out of the rain but would really like some blue skies :)

I hope it doesn't rain tomorrow either as we are off to Newbury for the camper and caravan show and I've just got it clean ready for Sunday.

Well, if it rains today or tomorrow and the roads are still wet, mine will be dirty when I arrive on Sunday :-(

Are we going to go for a cruise along the front after meeting?

Sorry I’m not going to make it on Sunday... v5 not yet arrived on my latest daily driver... DVLA seems to be taking their time at the moment...?

I was going to turn up this sunday but I've just realised (in time to save my life) that sunday is our wedding anniversary - now, no cheeky comments thank you;) - I know where my priorities lay

And of course I don't want my Ellie 'on show' with her broken door mirror :joy:
